I read This is How You Lose Her by Junot Diaz. This was an ok book, but I probably would not recommend. It was a little confusing because the narrator was Spanish, and he would switch between English and Spanish when speaking. I took French in high school, so I had no idea what was being said half the time! If you do speak Spanish, then I would recommend. I would give it 3 out of 5 stars.
I read It's Complicated: Short Stories About Long Relationships by Karen Wright (who is also a blogger at runwright.net). I found myself relating to some of the stories, relationships, and characters more than others. But, that's real life, isn't it? We relate and connect with some people more than others. So, that made this collection feel authentic and genuine.
