I'm more than halfway through the novel, and I'm really loving it.
And I already have 3 film adaptations lined up after :)

How about you ?

Tina Marie | 12 comments The book is the best. I watched half of 1945 and wasn't believing it and so I watched 2009 and was a little freaked out by a few scenes which were not in the book. Although Colin Firth was amazing as Lord Henry. He's the reason I finished the film.

I really liked both versions of the movie. (2009 + 2004).. but if you're a purist, don't watch them. Colin Firth, especially, did a marvelous job as Henry, the novel's most interesting and fascinating character.

I think I'm saving the 1945 film for when I read the book again - which I'm pretty sure I will.

The Picture of Dorian Gray is certainly one of my most favorite classics.
