Vernos is split into three main regions. Watelma, Lotta, and Zulu.
Watelma
The most peaceful of the regions, its known for lots of agriculture. Its protected by the fact its separated from Lotta and Zulu by a vast sea. The natives of the Watelma region are very respectful to the goddess Florela because she is a symbol of nature and by extension plants. Its in most areas covered in heavy flora, lots of flat lands, and good agricultural lands. There aren't that many large things like trees.
Lotta
Lotta is a strange land. Its completely bairn with land that cannot grow any kind of plants. Well, that is above ground. For some reason. Above ground the entire region is completely like a desert until it starts to meet at a bridge between it and Zulu. There are large rocky stretches well. Underground there are many large catacombs and they are full of plants.
Zulu
Zulu is completely covered in large trees, lots of shaded rain forest like areas, and lots of mountains. Its often seen as the most dangerous of the three regions.
Climate
Watelma
Its has a moderate climate perfect for farming. It has different areas that align to the different kinds of seasons which provide a large variety of plants that can be grown. As such Watelma is agriculturally rich.
Lotta
Lotta is a desert, as such it seldom rains and is blisteringly hot during the day and freezing during the night. The only place slightly livable is the underground catacombs which are relatively cool all the time. Water can only be found in underground springs.
Zulu
Zulu is a split of tropical and mountainous ranging from humid and warm to very cold and arid depending on exactly where you are.
Flora
Watelma
Watelma has few wild planets as most are domesticated for farming purposes. There are literally no large plants like trees.
Lotta
Lotta has a lack of any above ground flora. Even cactus have trouble growing in the blistering atmosphere. Underground there are mostly things like water collecting moss and fruiting vines that don't need sunlight.
Zulu
Zulu has large amounts of flora like trees commonly found in tundras or rain forests depending on the specific area. There is a greatly large variety of plant life compared to the other two regions. There are no domesticated plants what so ever so most plants that can be used for food have small produce yield.
Fauna
Watelma
Watelma has few animals besides the native races. Most are animals like ox or horses that can help in plowing the fields. Nothing carnivorous lives on Watelma and as such the idea of killing isn't a wide spread one. Because the large amount of edible plants there is not need to kill for food.
Lotta
Any animal life in the Lotta region is either nocturnal or lives under ground since few creatures can withstand the sunlight of this region.
Zulu
Animals of the Zulu region mainly rely on each other as food sources since there are so few plants that can be used for food. As such there is a mostly predator population that aren't above eating each other. If there are any kind of omnivores or herbivores there are few and nearly gone.
Nations
Watelma
The Elros, Kree, and Versnof races all live together in harmony farming together and living in peace. The most dangerous of the three are the Kree who often live solitary lives. The Kree are in fact omnivorous creatures who same to sea in order to get from Zula to Watelma. However they moved for a more peaceful life so for the most part they avoid the other two races and live in peace. They have a social structure that mostly focuses on helping each other no no one being better than the other.
Lotta
The Krupa live together in a kingdom under ground. Most are blind with only the scouts who go above ground at night being able to see. They live in a kingdom like way together with a king like figure ruling at the top. May scouts will go into the Zulu region for long stretches of time in order to bring back resources.
Zulu
The Murmo and Beastlings live together in Zulu, but all are solitary races and have no kind of social structure. The only reason a Beastling or Murmo would spend time with another of its kind is to breed and most Beastlings and Murmos hate each other with a burning passion so you will not find one anywhere near the other.

Lotta is not known to be a particularly vicious region but its inhabitant are far from push overs thanks to how vicious their environment is.

Zulu is of course the violent region, someone unfamiliar with it will have trouble lasting long. Its not a fun place to visit as the combination of the two main races of the area make it hazardous.
