DESTRUCTION

Chapter 17: (view spoiler)[ We've learned a lot more about the dragons, sylphs, phoenixes, etc., and seeing that it's the last book, it's kind of weird. And it was kind of funny when they all found out that humans came before them. A bit absurd considering that they are souls that reincarnate themselves. (hide spoiler)]

Finished: (view spoiler)[ It was a meh kind of ending but considering everything Ana went through, I tolerated it. I can't believe she of all people made the oldsouls remember the choices they made that cause Janan to consume newsouls. And the history of Janan himself made sense. It also reminded me of Allegiant, but Ana was reborn so it was a happy Allegiant. Overall, a good ending to the trilogy. (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 8: (view spoiler)[ It's been a long time since I've read Asunder, so I've had to read summaries but I still don't recall anything. I think Ana's decision to hide things from the group may come back to bite her, and she might lose their trust. It would really suck if that were to happen. They will probably be outraged once they learn about reincarnation stopping, but hopefully Ana can find a way to release them from the whole memory spell thing so that they get the whole story and why it has to stop. Chapter 25: (view spoiler)[ This has been good but not great. I'm waiting for some big betrayal to happen like with Stef or Sarit but maybe that won't happen at this point. Something big and surprising would have to happen if a betrayal doesn't take place though, otherwise I'll be disappointed. I really like Ana and Sam together, and I think it took seeing them apart for me to realize that. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 28: (view spoiler)[ Damn, Stef and Sarit both died? I guess there's my big surprise, I didn't know if the author would kill them off or not. I never liked Stef but Sarit was sweet and I liked her. I'm interested in how this will end. (hide spoiler)]

Done: (view spoiler)[ I found that ending extremely confusing, and I don't know exactly what happened. It seemed alright in the end but the thing with the light and the chains and her sacrifice were all super confusing for me. I might have to read up on a summary to fully understand what happened there. (hide spoiler)]
