Cats and their Keepers discussion

I've been emotionally unstable the past couple of days because of this series! The final book had me in tears - there's a sad beauty to the finale that I've never experienced before. While the books are centered around a plot to stop an evil force from destroying all shadowhunters, it's the tragic love story of Tessa, Will and Jem that is the heart of the books. Never have I read a love triangle like this one, nor do I expect to for a long time.

I'm in turmoil thinking about the ending. In my dark pit of bittersweet sadness, I've decided to read the remaining Mortal Instruments books (4-6) so I can returned to some of my beloved characters from Infernal Devices. I can only hope having a glimpse in their [happy] future will destroy the dark tendrils caging my heart left there by the Grays, Carstairs, Herondales, Lightwoods, and Fairchilds.
