Jembe followed young Undyne into the big kingdom. He watched over Light to make sure she was ok.

Light dragged her feet behind everyone. She figured she would stick behind Luna and hide behind her if she saw... anyone she recognized. our maybe she would just run up ahead so she could get out of there as soon as possible.
It was just... so tempting to save Chara and Asriel from this... terrible plan. It would be different here though, right? If Chara was Mettaton... Mettacrit, Light realized she should say, then they couldn't be a ghost. Chara was a human. Plus, Mira wasn't here, since no one mentioned her. So what would happen? Would Chara kill... no, don't even think about that.
((Alright, EXPLANATION TIME!!! First off, in Storyshift, both Napstablook and Mettaton are ghosts. Mettaton was known as Mettacrit, but to prevent confusion, he's changed his name to Mettaton after humans killed them in my world.
When humans banished monsters, monsters hated humans. However, Mettacrit convinced them that humans weren't cruel, and monsters eventually came to like humans, and Mettacrit was their shining star. One day, a human with kindness in their soul fell down, and asked the monsters if they could help them. Mira was her name. Monsters loved them, and everyone was happy.
Then one day, Mettacrit and Mira vanished. The monsters later found out about their plan. They would try to convince humans of what they convinced monsters of, but they failed and died. Napstablook, when hearing the news, turned to dust, consumed with grief.
(All this is canon except for the changing name thing. Mettaton is not a human in my world, but a corrupted combination of Mira and Mettacrit, and the power of having a human and monster soul changed them for the worse. Most of the time, Mettaton is kind now, but power and the darkness and a lot of other stuff changed them. And if you read all of this, here's a cookie. You deserve it. This is all really confusing stuff that most people who like Storyshift don't even know :P) ))

Jembe walking in, he saw two children playing. One was a goat like monster. The other was a human child, with a scent of deah to follow them. The king and queen sat in their thrones, discussing something of importance.

Light stayed behind the wall next to the entrance. They're here they're here oh my god they're here I can't face them I can't do it no no no no
"W-will y-y-you go o-on a-ahead...?" Light whispered loud enough for Jembe to hear. "I-I... can't f-face t-t-them, and I-I'll do s-s-something stupid," Light stammered out. "A-and r-r-ruin this w-world..."

((Well, first your character needs to be approved :) Second, we're way into the roleplay and it might be hard to add you in. This is in the past right now, and I believe your character was in the present, right? BUT, we're almost out of the past, and if everyone else is okay with it, you can join us then! :3))

((Light makes a point. Once we get to the present, I would be happy to rp with you. Along with the others I bet! Maybe you could have it where you are here, but in the present. So we cant see you yet. But we will soon? Idk. But you are approved.

"Hey, just stay behind me. Dont worry and breathe. You dont even know these two. They might look the same, but they arent. You never know... One could instantly kill you where you stand..." He placed his arm up, making sure she wouldnt go ahead of him.

Light bit her lip. "But it is the same person... They look the same, act the same, to an extent, and love Asriel... They may be switched around, but they are the same person... And! And they would never kill me! N-neither of them! They..." Light trailed off. "J-just... let's get this... over w-with... I'll just be right behind you..."

((One more thing! :) Jembe, would you mind not calling me Light? Light is completely different from me :3 Would you mind calling me Shay or even just vga? It's kinda like having a character you're writing about, then showing the character to your friend, and they start calling you the character with you calling me Light... X) ))

"Just stick behind me. Let Undyne do all the talking..." He said. They were right next to the children. They looked curiously at them.

Light froze at their state. "H-h-h... h-hello..." she managed to stutter out from behind Jembe.

He held his arm up, motioning that she should step back. Chara gave an evil look to Light, and Jembe glared. "Dont focus on them."

Undyne was asleep on the back... But Luna immediately flew away at the sight up the freaky human child.

He turned to the King. "Hello. I am Jembe of the surface. We were sent by Undyne, we are trying to head to the surface, but we had no idea where that was. Can you help use make are way back?" Jembe asked.

The King stood, and looked at the entrence. "Now, young one, what is it that makes you want to leave?" The King asked Light.

That was enough suspicion to make Jembe curious of why the King asked that.

((Hey Ilsa. Do you want Luna to age or..? Because she can come with Jembe and Light and not age with them. Or not go, and age.))

((Like, do you want Luna to stay a child, or grow up into a teen/young adult?))

"H-huh?" Light said, confused as to why the king would care about why she, of all people, would be asked. "I... miss everyone. This place is different, and not quite the same, and..." Light took a deep breath. "I have somebody who I want to see again. I... well," Light fiddled with her hands. "I miss my family..." Light looked up at Asgore. "D-does that answer satisfy you...?"

((I think Chara should crippled one of Luna's wings, then teen.))

"Well, as much as I would like to help you. If you hadn't known, the humans had placed a barrier on this exit. It is Unknown if you can leave."

Jembe looked at the exit. "Can we head to take a look?" He asked, pointing to the walk way.

Chara saw a fimiliar face in the bunch. Luna had been cautious of Chara as seen earlier, yet Chara stood and walked to her. "Luna! Hows my favorite bat doing! Hey, I brought you a present..." He grinned, looking harmless at the moment.

Luna had been about to slink off, downcast, and then shuddered when called out by one of the princes. "Oh," she said, nervous. Why was he so sweet right now? He wasn't really kind, was he? "Okay," she said, inching closer.

"Your majesty, like Jembe said, can we take a l-look? I-it might help that we're humans..." Light ended uncertainty. She heard a voice behind her. One that, while sounding a little younger than she was used to, was a familiar voice. She turned around slowly, looking for who they were addressing.

"I wouldnt see the problem in it. But I must warn you, the barrier that the humans placed might not have you leave. But look at it if you please." The King said cooperatively.

Chara had turned from a harmless smile, to a sinister grin. He pulled out a handful of rocks and began to chuck them at Luna's wings. Hitting them pretty hard.

Chara shrieked and yelped, the rocks cutting holes into her wings, tattering them. The bat girl curled up, wrapping herself in her wings, which only hurt them even more.

The King had looked over to see the comotion. "Chara! What are you doing!?! Why would you do that?!?!" He slammed his fist down.

"We, were just playing! Right Luna..." Chara gave her an evil stare. 'She had better not tell' was the type of look Chara gave.

Luna did not tell. She was sobbing, though, wings bleeding violently.

"Luna!" Light shouted, rushing over to her. She hasn't looked in time to see what Chara had done, but saw the damage. "Oh no..." Light whispered, looking at the damage. "Healing magic..." Light murmured. "Do any of you know healing magic?" Light asked louder, looking at the King, Queen, and Asriel.

The girl wailed. She was sure others had seen... but no one would willingly aggravate Chara.

Jembe grabbed Luna and pulled her arm back. "We need to go. Let them deal with it." He sighed, giving Luna an item from the surface used to heal humans. He began to pull Light to the exit.

"Woah!" Light exclaimed at being pulled away by Jembe. She lost her balance as she began to be pulled. But in all honesty... she was thankful. She wanted to get out of there. "So what's your great plan to get to our time?" Light muttered sarcastically, hoping no one else would hear.

Luna looked up, eyes hurt. The people she'd guided... they just left her at the mercy of the monster. They... were just as bad, weren't they? Chara fumbled, convulsing in pain. She stayed there for a good time while Toriel tried to administer health to the girl. She was numbed significantly so her wings could be sewn up again. Drugged beyond consciousness, she stayed the night in the palace. When she woke, someone had cut the webbing from her wings.

Jembe and Light had just gone through the barrier. Taking them ten years into the future. They met a bright light, then began to fall, like if they fell at mount ebbot. Jembe grabbed Light as they crashed. Jembe decided that he was to go to Snowden.

((I would have stayed if it was me, and I almost wrote that Light stated with Luna, but I felt like it wasn't something she would have done; not if she was so close to getting home. But really, we're heartless o_o I'm fully prepared to turn into a Nobody :I Is it bad that I feel bad about it even if it didn't even happen...?))

((Nope. People like that just become heartless. They don't have soul enough to become Nobodies. You do feel bad because, inherently, you made the decision. MUAHAHA!))
