Jembe, Undyne, Luna, and Light had ventured off to the Hotlands, traveling to the King took longer then expected...

And it was so. Freaking. Hot. This is why Waterfall had always been her favorite place. Peaceful, but not completely lonely. And it was not ROASTING hot. She wished she went with her instincts and went on the ferry but NO, she decided that it probably wasn't as hot as it was before. Worst. Mistake. Ever. "Ugh, do we have any more water?"

He tossed her a canteen. "Here, drink up. save some for the others though as well." Knowing Undyne was a fish, she probably needed it the most.

"Thanks," Light said after she took a long gulp. "Undyne, you need any? This place can't be good for you."

Undyne was dying on the raft. It was so hot. Even now, after dipping herself in water, she was panting hard. She couldn't really keep up the pace. The kid was likely to faint at any moment.

Well, with them on the raft, Jembe dipped Undyne under water for a little bit before pulling her out. "Did that help at all?"

Undyne nodded, then wilted again. "Yeah... maybe I should go back." She looked like she was gonna barf.

"W-what about the king! What about your fame! A guard shouldn't give up that easily right?!?!?!" He tryed to get her to continue on the journey, as they needed to get to the king!

"What Jembe was TRYING to say," Light said with a glare in his direction, "is that you shouldn't force yourself to do anything you don't want to." Light understood that they needed to get to the king, but it wasn't worth the girl's health.

Jembe glared back. Then closed his eyes, sighing...

Undyne bared her teeth. "I won't ever give up! I'll take you right to the palace, I swear!" Light's guidance fell on deaf ears. Jembe had wounded the child's pride... But Undyne slid into the water, holding onto the boat, trying to survive for as long as she possibly could. even the water was hot, though.

It seemed that they were nearing the end. If she could hold onto it for a bit longer...

Undyne did! Hopefully they could carry her...

Jembe grabbed her, pulling her up. They had reached the exit.

Light sighed, seeing that her words had not been heard. "Fine, but be careful..."

Undyne whimpered, holding tightly to the human's back.
