There are some writer's conferences in my area coming up, but since they're very expensive, I'm wondering how worthwhile it would be. The topics sound interesting, but.... I'd be interested in hearing about others' experiences. Has anyone been to one? If so, was it useful? Did you find it helped you improve your writing? What was the best / worst thing about it? Any other comments would be appreciated as well. thanks!
