Brent, the military Were, breaks from the pack and is now hanging out around Rachel. What do you think of his character?

I recall thinking it was an odd decision on his part. I wasn't sure what he was up to or what his motivation was, partly because, as much as I like Rachel, she IS something of a mess. lol

I haven't a clue what's going on with Brent. Did he break from the pack or was he thrown out after losing the Focus? I think he believes Rachel knows something about both Nick and the artifact.

I'm of two minds about him - it is possible that he suspects Rachel has the Focus and that is why he's watching her. However, of all the Weres he was the one who seemed most honorable to me and his choice to negotiate with Rachel (which I think led to his being thrown out of the pack) suggests that there is something more here.

Also, there is the whole thing about Rachel's wolf form being red. All the Weres seemed shocked at this so maybe there is a connection.

Oh! I meant to talk about her wolf form! Loved that she was a red wolf. It obviously means something.
