LDS Ladies Book Club discussion

For August things are changing in the Classic Book Reads. We will still alternative every month one adult/children's classic but in the picture book section it will now by one picture book and one award winning children's book of less than 200 pages.

For August I have picked the theme of sea, oceans, rivers. seaside.

The Classic book will be a children's of more than 200 pages. Remember, all must be 40 years or longer since first published. This is just a heads up and I will put the actual threads in July.

So here are my nominations for each section in the new formatted Classic Book section:

Picture book:

Award winning chapter book under 200 pages:

Children's Classic (more than 200 pages)

I would like to second The Little Island, Call it Courage, and Gone-Away Lake. Those are all great choices to me so I don't have anything different to nominate.

There have been no more nominations so today I am putting up the poll. Call It Courage will be the book under 200 pages and the other 2 categories will be voted on until July 14th. Thanks
