We just watched the 1963 version of The Incredible Journey. I used to watch it all the time when I was a kid. It was fairly close to the book. Our 17 month old kept running over to me and grabbing my arm and pointing at the screen while jabbering away at every animal.

Cute. I can't remember if I have watched that movie or not. I'll have to watch it with my kids after I've read the book.

If anyone is interested, Amazon has some kindle versions of a couple of the books from the list as their daily deal. I think The Little Prince was on there and The Lightning Thief.
