Coralline was right behind Emilie as they raced to the library. The caretaker wasn't here, yet and the librarian was too busy reading her book to even notice them. Coralline looked around in case anyone saw them and pulled out her wand.
Emelie looked around cautiously.
"What if they see us?", she asked Coralline in a whisper.
"What if they see us?", she asked Coralline in a whisper.
"They won't! I hope... The Librarian isn't going to notice us, she's deaf and almost as blind as a bat, seriously I had to yell in her ear so she could hear me" She giggled and faced the lock. "Alohamora!" She whispered and the lock unlocked. "Here we go!" She said and went inside.
"Okay.", Emelie said quietly and followed Coralline inside.
"Look at these!", Emelie mumbled and touched the nearest books. All the books were old and dusty and looked like they hadn't been touched in years.

"I know! I'm going to look for Potions and Charms!" Coralline said excitedly and crept through the rows until she found the section she wanted. She pulled down a book from potions and a book from charms. She sat down cross legged and read the titles.
Emelie looked around for any books on Hogwarts.
'Maybe Hogwarts has secrets, like all the stories in the muggle world.', she thought and searched the bookshelves.
She pulled out a book that looked interesting and brushed off the dust on the cover.

Coralline thought she heard whispers and shivered.
She shrugged it off and opened one of the books, it screamed at her silently and Coralline yelped and dropped the book. She stood up suddenly still surprised.

Emelie looked up alarmed.
"What's wrong?", she asked Coralline.
She dropped her book slowly and ran over to her.

She dropped her book slowly and ran over to her.
"I got startled by the book. It screamed at me!" She said then shrugged. "Never mind" She said and crouched then picked up the book again. This time it didn't scream. She smiled with relief. "Sorry I scared you" She said.
"Oh. It's okay.", she said, turned around and opened the book she had before.
'Maybe it was a sign, that we should leave. Okay, if another weird thing happens, say something.', she told herself and read the first page of the book.

Coralline read interested. "My, the things we are going to learn are complex!" She murmured. She listed through the book carefully scanning each page. She tapped her fingers on the back of the book in annoyance.
Emelie walked over to Coralline with curiosity and looked over her shoulder, down at the books.
"Woah.", she murmured seeing all the complicated and dangerous spells.
"Woah.", she murmured seeing all the complicated and dangerous spells.
"Yeah, okay. I got them memorized. Rather be safe then sorry," she said. Thanks to her photographic memory she could remember a lot of the potions and spells. "I'm not taking any chances, if I get in a sticky situation I can at least defend myself" She said looking up at Emilie. "Is that wrong?"
"No, not at all.", she reassured her.
"But how did you memorize them so quickly?", she asked Coralline, looking at her in wonder.
"But how did you memorize them so quickly?", she asked Coralline, looking at her in wonder.
Coralline tapped her temple with her forefinger.
"Photographic memory," then she laughed bitterly, "but it always fails me when I write a test though." She shrugged and looked up at Emilie. "I wish I was a muggle born...Mam if I was, mother wouldn't have died." She said in deep thought.

"Everything happens for a reason. I know it sounds cheesy but it's true.", Emelie said.
She didn't understand why It would her fate, if Coralline would be muggle-born, but decided not to bother her too much about it.
Unfortunately, she said her thoughts aloud.

Coralline looked up at Emilie a slight hurt expression on her face. She stood up and wiped the expression off of her face and opened the book again and buried her nose in it.
"Oh, Coralline, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings! You know, growing up, I was never really friends with girls, always boys. I don't really know how to handle these things.", Emelie said, sadness clouding her face.
She closed her eyes for two seconds and scolded herself, before opening them and looking at the bookshelves.

"It's fine! I don't hurt easily don't worry about it!" She said smiling. She didn't like talking about her feelings so she hid them even if she was hurt badly. She closed the book she had been reading.
Emelie saw Coralline smile but it didn't reach her eyes. She knew she had hurt Coralline but decided to let it go.
"Okay..", she mumbled, looking at the floor.
"D'you still want to stay here or should we go?", she asked, putting her book back in it's shelf.
She hadn't gotten to read it, but it didn't matter at the moment.

She hadn't gotten to read it, but it didn't matter at the moment.
"Are you kidding? Staying here for just a little bit more." Coralline grinned and picked another book from it's shelf. She opened the book and read, no screams came from the book, to her relief.
Emelie smiled and took a similar book to her previous one out of the shelf next to her. She sat down, leaning against the wall and opened the book. No weird sounds or things came out of it, so she turned the next page.
Coralline thought for a moment after reading the context of the book. Hogwarts The Rise and the fall? That doesn't sound right, she thought and kept on reading with renewed interest. Her eyes scanned the pages quickly.
Emelie noticed Coralline's sudden eager interest to her book.
"What's up?", she asked.
"What's up?", she asked.
"Hm?" Coralline mumbled looking up at Emilie. "Nothing, just a really interesting book I am reading." She said shrugging. Blowing her hair out of her face, Coralline closed the book and put it back on it's shelf. "What are you reading?" She asked turning to Emilie.
"Oh, I don't really know, to be honest. It's called 'Hogwarts Mysteries', if that helps.", she said looking at the old cover of the book.
"It sounds adventurous!" Coralline smiled. She froze, her blood seemed to freeze when she heard a creak. "Who's there?!" The librarians voice echoed around the room angrily. Coralline looked at Emilie. "Uh oh!" She mouthed.
Emelie stood there with her mouth open. She placed the book in it's shelf carefully.
"What now?", she whispered as quietly as she could to Coralline.
"What now?", she whispered as quietly as she could to Coralline.
Coralline shrugged and looked around wildly. She heard footsteps come closer. That meant that the librarian wasn't at the door! "Door," Coralline said very quietly and began to run silently to the exit. She tripped on some books and went sprawling on the floor. "STOP!" The librarian yelled. Coralline got up and winced. "Come on!" She mumbled at Emilie.
Emelie helped Coralline up and then sprinted to the door. She only looked back to see the librarian coming around the corner and then ran faster out into the hallway.
Coralline had a stitch in her side from running and her breath was laboured.
"I- I think we made it," she panted. The librarian's shout's were now just echoes. Coralline looked at Emilie with a goofy grin on her face. "I can't believe we got away with that!"

Emelie grinned back, still panting.
"I know, right?", she said and laughed.
"I know, right?", she said and laughed.
((So, sorry, my comments never save!! >:( ))
Coralline nodded and straightened, though she had a painful stitch in her side. "Where should we go now?" She asked, she had a need for adventure! Her bright green eyes were mischievous and very exited.

((No problem, it's fine!(: ))
"I don't know. Where do you want to go?", she asked and looked around if anyone saw their sudden escape out of the library's restricted section.
Thankfully, no one was there.

"I really wanted to go the the forbidden forest, but I guess that's to dangerous..." Coralline murmured under her breath. "Where do you want to go?" She asked curiously turning to Emilie.
"I think the forbidden forest would be intetesting..", Emelie started.
"But I don't want to risk our lives just for that.", she added after a little pause.
Where could we go?, she asked herself in thoughts.
"I kind of want to find out, how muggles can't see the castle. In the book I read in the restricted section, it said something about that but I didn't get the chance to read the whole sentence.", Emelie answered after thinking for a few seconds.
She then asked, if Coralline had any other ideas.

Coralline shrugged, completely out of ideas. She was a little annoyed that neither of them had any good ideas, but that thought was clouded over by tiredness. "Maybe we should go to bed," she yawned.
"Yeah.", Emelie sighed and looked out the window into the darkness.
I guess it's quite late.., she admitted in thought.
"So, good night!", she smiled.

"Yeah, see you later alligator!" She grinned and hugged Emilie tightly before running down the hallway to the Hufflepuff dorm.
Emelie smiled and walked down the corridor, in the opposite direction, where she thought the Ravenclaw Tower was.
