What about one of the mysteries JK Rowling wrote under a pen name? Or another author who published under a pseudonym?

Just pick an author that you do like, peruse that person's bibliography for books you are not familiar with.
The Dark Flower by John Galsworthy Also, the suggestion to just search your favorite famous author is a good idea.
Just want to point out that finding an obscure book from a famous author had to the hardest thing to do.
Famous author WALKER PERCY? Today's readers might say , who? John Gardner, who. It can go on forever.
