I am on the last installment of this series. I don't feel a connection between Mark and Nicole. I kept reading hoping I would feel something between these two. Nicole started out as an independent woman and turns into a mumbler. She can't make a decision to save her life. Mark is supposed to be a dom? After every scene he leaves her. Not once did he explain about sub-space. He only provided after care once. This was in the form of pills and a cream. What does Nicole see in Mark?
