Recommendations for series similar to New Species?

Does anyone have recommendations for a series of books about people who have animalistic qualities because they were genetically engineered by scientists and used in experiments? A series similar to Laurann Dohner's New Species, which I love and is awesome. I have read a couple books from Lora Leigh's Breeds series however I did not like them. And I also recently discovered Mina Carter's Perfect Mate. Any suggestions for series similar to the ones I have mentioned.

I just found a relatively new one by Madison Stevens called Luna Lodge.

Its not a series about scientifically engineered shifters but I really liked The Phoenix Pack (Suzanne Wright) and Psy/Changeling (Nalini Singh). I am a huge huge huge fan of the New Species and I wish that these books could be written and released faster.

I came across a series called BEAST (think its by Rebecca Goings), but I havent started reading it yet so not sure what to expect.

A seriers that is close to the New species is the Breed series by Lora Leigh.

there is also a series by susan a bliler called skin walkers.
It's pretty good only she has published the first book then the fifth book thru to the ninety book.
So I my self am waiting for books 2-4. to read in order.
the first book is king.
