I would like to return Scorpion to the pool, and clarify that this book is filled with Adult Content. (It was R rated by the 2nd page in.) That doesn't mean others won't read it. But I don't for one appreciate being lied to.

Hi Iffix - I've just looked, it maybe partly my fault and what people perceive as adult content. In listing the books we do ask if "your book contains adult content" in response to this the author replied no adult content and I in my haste just read it as an authors note. I'm guessing he was thinking more about the kind of adult content my books contain and looking at the first few pages
of his on amazon, you're objecting to swearing.
Nobody has intentionally lied, it was just one of life's misunderstandings. I will return his book to the pool and remove the note.

I've just noticed these comments about John Autero's book, The Scorpion, and would like to add that I read and reviewed the book before joining the Review Pool. This an excellent novel and does not contain what most adults would consider to be adult content.

You can see my review history. I have also purchased every book, so each reader gets a verified review on Amazon as well. I tend to average about roughly two weeks from book selection to reading and writing a review. I like to plan my books ahead of time, so by requesting this book, I am putting it in my queue.
