Knox seemed unafraid, like he was subtly threatening her with that body language. Don't know why he wouldn't fear Jarvis. He's connected to Yates so I'm wondering if he knows the secret the privateer has over Jarvis.
I think Knox has a real resentment against the higher orders of society. We have no idea whether he knew of Sebastian's existence as a likely brother before the events in this book, do we? Good point about his connection to Yates on business terms. What else DO we know about Knox? I expect we'll see him again in future books.
Hero and Knox seemed to be sizing each other up. Neither was intimidated by the other. I hope we do see more of Knox in future installments. He's interesting.

When he saw she wasn't intimidated, he was amused. I think he respects Hero and see them getting along fabulously in the future.
