The Iron Trial discussion

I really liked the Iron Trials and how Holly Black and Cassandra worked together to create this book. Although I have read in the comments and felt it myself, people say that this book feels really similar to Harry Potter. However, I appreciate its own unique story line. This book kept me reading on till the next page and then to the next book and finally dying for the third book that is to be released at the end of August this year. Cal and his friends are lovable characters and the enemies are hidden. This book was worth the read and I want to hear more about other people's thoughts on this book!

This book very much reminded me of Harry Potter, but I don't think one can have a book as iconic as HP without comparisons being drawn. I enjoyed this book even though there were obvious similarities, and I think young readers who liked HP would find this book a good fit.
