Finished - (view spoiler)[ I really, really disliked this. Eva was too weak a character, Gideon needs to learn the meaning of 'no' and Cary was just stupid. Also, Eva should have called him on it much sooner. That way, all that mess wouldn't have happened. Also, the heck was that ending? (hide spoiler)]

Ending Thoughts: (view spoiler)[ That's the ending. What on earth was that? This book is ridiculous. I do not think I read a book that made me this frustrated in my life. I wonder how this book is so popular. I thought the characters were really lacking for me in both the characterization and chemistry. I did not see an ounce of chemistry between the characters. I do not know if I want to read the rest of the series. I give this book a 1/5. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 1-10 (view spoiler)[ so I am not a really big fan of Eva, I know I should be but it seems like she is just all emotions. you go to the hotel to have sex with him and get upset when you find items that pertain to sex??? (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 11-17 (view spoiler)[Still Eva is not my favorite character, its almost like she takes everything to the extreme then decides the only way to fix the problem is if she runs away. It is quite annoying. So many reviews say that she is the stronger version of Ana, I am not seeing it at all. In fact I feel like she is weaker.
I wonder if Christopher is the one who hurt Gideon, based on those dreams it is obvious someone did something to him. (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]

I am not sure how I feel about women giving men flowers, like one or two is fine but dozens of them? It just doesn't seem very masculine to me at all... Just my 2 cents.

Chapter 18-fin (view spoiler)[ so not only does she have Magdeline to deal with but now she has Corrine. I agree that Gideon for sure needs to cut her off, and he should have at least warned her about it. Of all the arguments that they seem to have at least this one seems to have some merit. I'm still going to read this, I just lost my Kindle charger so as soon as I find it/buy a new one I'll start it xD

28% (view spoiler)[ Not much of a plot so far, and I don't like the way Gideon treats Eva. I would be creeped out if someone knew all this stuff about me. (hide spoiler)]

57% (view spoiler)[ So many problems and so many sex scenes! I still don't feel there's too much of a plot, and I think given the awful sexual abuse Eva suffered, it should be given more prominence than their petty relationship jealousy stuff. (hide spoiler)]

78% (view spoiler)[ Oh, now I'm mad! Eva saying that suicide is an "easy, selfish way out" is SO offensive to people with mental health issues. I know it's because Gideon's father did it to escape a criminal conviction, but it has such a harmful message saying that. I'm also getting tired of the constant problem-argument-makeup sex cycle. End (view spoiler)[ That ended on a weird note. What was the point of throwing Corinne into the mix right at the end? Totally unnecessary, as was Cary's weird behaviour. (hide spoiler)]

I thought it was quite sweet :) I don't necessarily think of flowers as a masculine or feminine present though.
