Great thought Joy. I would've thought the way his story was told that she was opening a lead for his book, it would make an interesting book because she could weave stuff through that has implications now in the present. Infact if she chose this route the result could be as big as Twilight, there are alot of Jasper fans ut there, and enough newbies to make his book popular.

That's what I think. I think Jasper was the most interesting character in the Twilight series apart from the pack...She mentions his past, and a few specifics in the Twilight series...I would LOVE to know more! She could even throw Alice in there(the end of course) since they meet each other BEFORE going to the Cullens...It could be interesting...

I did think he was very interesting. However, as we know all the details of his past from reading the series, I probably would not like to rehash it another book, LOL.
I think that if Stephenie meyer were smart about it, she could toss in some more interesting tidbit...Maybe things that he was ashamed to let the Cullens know, and therefore we didnt hear about in the Twilight series...But that would require Meyer being a lot more creative than she was with the Twilight series.
Jasper is my favorite character from the Twilight series, so I am a bit biased. LOL

Wow, that really is a great idea.I don't think that this kind of plot is done before, vampires against vampires... I would love to read about it :), it really spoke to me while I read it in Twilight series.

I think it would make a great story too. I heard that Meyer said she wants to stay away from writing about vamps for a while though...

I think it would be really interesting to read about Jasper before! The Vamp vs. Vamp could be great to read about. I really can't think of anyone who really did it the way Meyers would have to. I mean it would have to be wars where in other books it would be one vs a clan. Emmet was my favorite in the series tho. I can't think of a way to do an before for emmett it would have to be about his human years. I think Jasper is the only one who would have an interesting story to tell from before. Alice's might be good but since she can't remember it that doesn't help.
Jasper is the most intriguing character. I agree with you on that. There is something there that will have a lot of people reaching for books on him. I wonder if Meyers can handle a series like that? She had lots of room to keep the books coming from different angles. The End at the end of Breaking Dawn was so final. It was actually disappointing because I felt there were so many questions that were left hanging.
I wish there would be been more to Jasper (and the rest of the characters, to be honest) than Meyer had given in Eclipse. He was incredilby interesting, especially since he was the newest edition to the Cullen clan. Although a lot of people have the opinion that Twilight is officially overrated, I woulddn't mind novella (like The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner) that covered each Cullen/Hale's background, like where they came from and how they met the Cullens and everything. I think it'd be really interesting, especially since I don't think she ever went into any detail about Emmett.

Why? His character was much more interesting that the rest!

I like Jasper. I would like to hear his story before he met the cullens like his like during the war. I would also love to read a book about Alice's story. While some of her background was given in the twilight saga, I felt it was shady and that she didn't really know what happened to her before she became a vampire. It would be interesting to know what happened to her
The Twilight series could go on and on and on and....on! With all the characters having such interesting backgrounds. Personally (due to the books) i would love to read about Emmets life before the Cullens. But then i would love to hear about Alice's...and Carlise's life lol. The books would go on forever.
I am a huge Jasper fan. I would love to see her write about his life & how he found Alice and changed his life. Maybe she could write a book with all of the Cullens lives before they found each other. I would be ever so grateful if she did. Sometimes I forget that these characters aren't really people and tend to care about how their lives are going. I guess I have a really good imagination. "Happy Holloween Everyone"
I'd like to read more about Carlisle, and how the whole family got put together. Edward and Carlisle both had college educations, so I think books about that would be interesting as well.
I think it would be neat to hear about all the characters history.

Did you like his character?
Should Stephenie Meyer write a series about Jasper BEFORE he joined the Cullens?
