I would rather not be captain, Fridays are a busy day for me so can't always guarantee I will be around for the rolls etc.

I'm Denise from California. I'm a radiation therapist. Mom of two daughters, ages 16 & 18. Both have places to go, always, but no one drives yet. We're working on that.

I lost 50 pounds in 2010, and have stayed within 5 pounds of that, for the most part. I'm still working on getting past the plateau, but I've kind of switched to activity goals now. Last year, I ran/walked 5 half marathons and countless 5/10/12 k races. This year, I hurt my knee and it took me down for a few weeks. I'm working on getting back to it. My next goal is a swim from Alcatraz to Crissy field - 1.5 miles in open 50 degree water. Yes, I'm nuts.

I'm working on reading 60 books this year, too. I'm a little behind, but the group reads help keep me on schedule. I'm catching up quickly.

Where's everyone else from?

I am from central Indiana, right outside of Indianapolis. I grew up there.

I read too much and do too little activity so Denise I both envy you and think you're nuts!!

I have 2 boys, 15 (16 in one month) and 20 years old. The younger will be driving soon, thank heavens. I can see the end of the taxi driving years!

I can help captain if you need it Denise but am more than happy to let you have it ;-)

This is my 4th or 5th round for SS/SSS and I love that it helps me get through the million and one series I have. I usually sign up SSS but signed up for both SS and SSS last time and let me tell you, THAT was some craziness. This time I have other crazy team challenges going on so thought I'd go easy on myself with just SS. Can't wait!

I have three other team challenges going on. One being wobble. Is anyone else crazy enough to do that one? It's pushing me through my reading list quickly, at least, and I've been able to match most of the books up with other challenges, at least.

Yep, doing Wobble and a couple in AMMP Game Night, a smallish one over in Romance Readers Reading Challenges, Monopoly here... this doesn't begin to count the individual challenges.

I'm so glad that I'm not the only crazy one.

I never figured out monopoly or scrabble, so I'm not signing up for those, yet

I'm Brianna. I'm 24 and from Ohio. I love to read, but I just came out of a reading slump last month thanks to some challenges. I'm currently participating in WOBBLE, 2 monopoly games, and a few monthly challenges. So thanks to those my reading slump is over. I look forward to chatting and reading with you all.

I'm Jade, 35 and from Lancaster in the UK. I live with my Hubby and out 2 cats. I am a total bookworm and have far too many challenges going on at the moment from Buddy Reads to Monopoly and various monthly and annual challenges, I need to check out this Wobble..... I have challenged myself to read 250 books this year, I am currently on 139 so I am getting there and definitely hitting the TBR list, which never ends and gets longer daily.

I'm Louise from South Wales where I live with my OH and 20yr old cat. I'm addicted to reading and challenges, I always have 3 books on the go 1 on my tablet, 1 on my kindle and a "real" book. I have that many physical books that I've made a deal with my OH that I can only get new books to replace ones I've read and given away! I have around 200 physical books added onto that the 2000 or so on my kindle, tablet and online storage. I'm a sucker for a freebie.

I love team challenges, my boss asked me how many I'm in, I worked it out that this makes 10 including the infamous WOBBLE,!

Denise if you want to take a look here , I took on the captaincy in the last round, this may be of help.

Review:
I enjoyed this mostly because it was a hockey book. There was a lot of telling/explaining rather than showing/doing in this book. Not enough to get tedious but there were times where I wanted to tell the author just let us 'see' the characters feeling what you are telling me they feel. But overall an enjoyable read. I'll read the next one only because the author teased it enough that I want to see what happens.

Good job LaurLa! I'll have mine done sometime tomorrow.
