I love fanfiction! I've been writing fanfiction for almost as long as I've been working on original stuff. I've only written for Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys fandoms, but I've thought about expanding...

So far, I've done: Marvel, NATM, Narnia, StarWars, and CrimsonPeak. FanFictions.

I MAKE THEM RATED G.

Most of my fanfiction is kind of old, so it's not great, but if you're really up for it, I'm always excited for feedback. I've got all of my fanfiction posted on a fanfiction website. Here's the link to my profile:

I'm HUGE fan of anything that includes Young Justice, Merlin, or Harry Potter! If you choose to share your stories with this group, I'll gladly read it.

I've got to revise what i've already written. Because i have ideas that I need to incorporate into the story.

Oh, yeah. That's fine. Even if it takes longer that's okay too. Have fun!

Um, do you, moderators, mind if there is a little violence in my Young Justice fanfiction? Because there are fight scenes. Nothing graphic.
The story is from the point of view of an orphan, and not from one of the original characters'. I don't know if that helps.

Personally, I think it's fine as long as there isn't anything explicit. It should be as close to G or PG rated as you can keep it. That is, if you plan to post in on this group. If you want to post a link to another site, I would just put a disclaimer in your comment.

Lorien? Emily?

lorien ‧͙⁺˚*・༓ଳ | 2222 comments Mod
I'm fine with it. Cause who's read a comic book or something that has to do with superheroes? Um, probably none. So yeah, go for it.
I'm so excited to read your stories! : )

lorien ‧͙⁺˚*・༓ଳ | 2222 comments Mod
Yes, that is correct. Just so it's easier for members to find your story.

Never too old to watch good Disney!! (I'm not a huge fan of some of their newer stuff. I was more of a Kim Possible and Even Stevens era girl)

This is a bit of a stretch, but I'm working on something for Minecraft: Story Mode. It's interactive. I'm planning on having the first episode done before the end of this month.

:-) That totally counts, right? Games are in the fanfiction world. Good luck with it!

Im currently writing an Anna and the French Kiss fic. I started it for NaNoWriMo but I haven't really got all the detail ironed out. I'm hoping to finish it soon though, because I've got alot of ideas that I want to try.

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

Alright, it's not interactive, but it's for something a bit better-known than MC:SM. *Shrugs*

K.C. Nicola Sometimes I write fanfiction about anime, books, musicians, etc.; however, since I have little faith in them, I don't bother going through the whole multi-draft creative process. Usually what I end up doing is putting the first draft on Wattpad and kinda abandoning it from there due to a lack of readers (which is understandable - since there aren't many fans on Wattpad of the topics I write about - but still saddening for me).

I personally have a set of rules I make myself follow when writing fanfiction (especially fanfiction concerning real people), including "don't make them do anything defamatory", "try to stay in-character if writing about fictional topics", etc. Don't know about y'all, but I find having them, while they limit what I can write about, really helps me stay sane.

Rina wrote: "Usually what I end up doing is putting the first draft on Wattpad and kinda abandoning it from there due to a lack of readers (which is understandable - since there aren't many fans on Wattpad of the topics I write about - but still saddening for me)."

I know the feeling- Wattpad, although a great format, never seems to attract the right sort of audience. It's fun to write, though! It's when I'm writing fanfiction that I tend to laugh at myself the most.

I don't do multiple drafts, either- fanfiction is one of those things where the bar is set kind of low to begin with, so I figure it's not the sort of thing to warrant much editing. Fanfiction is already sort of half-baked for being based off of something already created, but where it lacks in originality it should make up for in entertainment- especially when you can maintain the same personalities for the characters you're writing for, no matter the situation. Also, like you've said, there's something very therapeutic about it. :)
