Wow, this is sooooo beautiful! If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the inspiration for this?
There is a legend that the Irish Banshee is a mother that died in childbirth snd that cries for her children in death.

It was only one forgotten heart beat.
’Twas my own fault mho chroí.
Your first breath so beautiful,
your Mamaí forgot to breathe.
Silently I rocked you then,
whispered kisses on your cheeks.
No sound though except your own crying,
and the keening of the sea.
Your new born eyes pierced my soul.
Your first words were my name.
You gathered what was left of me,
then filled our worlds with gentle grace.
I sat upon the Apple tree,
to save you from that fall.
You called me Guardian and Angel then.
I said no words at all.
I stayed with you throughout it all,
the ordinary, the everyday.
It was me you saw me in your babies’ eyes
It was me that shared your pain
But Séan, Séan tonight I remember my breath,
I cry out to the four winds, I will not be silenced
Hark all you generations, the world is lost
My son is Dead!
