Thats a great catch and gives me hope for the books I've released that are yet to be journalled. They're still having fun adventures, just without telling us! Thanks for starting the thread.
I released two books this morning in a cafe that was new to BookCrossing: Chapter 12 in Hailsham. I created it as a Crossing Zone and they have a book group meets there so fingers crossed ... !

Ok, this is the second time I've looked at a book that I had released and never heard from again, and found a journal entry for. Look at what I see on The Amphora Project:"Journal Entry 3 by wingAnonymousFinderwing at Granada Hills, California USA on Friday, October 11, 2013

WOW! Years ago I read "The Fan Man" and since then have loved everything by William Kotzwinkle. After I became self-employed and had to spend all my time on computers, I stopped collecting Kotzwinkle's releases. My mom discovered this copy of THE AMPHORA PROJECT in Nevada and she recognized the author name and traded up so that she could bring this to me in California. What great timing as I'm stuck at home this month and was craving classic science fiction (no sci-fantasy for me; not into the newfangled werewolf/vampire/warcraft type stuff). This book is perfect! And as usual thank you Kotzwinkle for including female/woman characters who are just as interesting and important as the male characters. Woo hoo! "
But why didn't I get an email notification when that person wrote this entry??
I don't think that it is it, Cheryl in CC NV. Since I have added wings, I never go more than a day or so without them, yet every so often, I go through my book list looking for a particular book and discover, to my amazement, that there has been some other book journaled that I never got an email notice for (as I tend to look at all of them, fondly remembering an old book friend). I think that sometimes a JE slips through the cracks. Some have even been a book ring book that I really try to update to make sure that I keep the ring moving. Just a thought...
Well, good to know that I'm not alone, and that there are probably more JEs out there that I just haven't seen yet. Thank you Nancy!

Indeed! Quite the catch ..
Hubert, thank you, I am on Yahoo... but I'm getting plenty of Go Hunting alerts... hm... Thanks for the input!

I don't have wings but still get emails if a book has a JE. I will only get one mail per day though so if it is catched during the day I will recieve it next morning.
But I read in the dutch forum that more people had the problem. Nobody knows how it comes.
Thank you, Inge. That's more good data.I'll just have to hope that there are lots of JEs that I haven't seen! :)
I also have a cool onehttp://www.bookcrossing.com/---/12906...
This book is called: Everything will be oke teacher!
And is actually cought by a teacher! She is a teacher in preschool and had a certain oppinion about the teachers of the book (MBO which is a 'low' education to learn for a certain proffesion, for example nurse, they will be the bed to bed nursus and not the one who handels the medication but our society couldn't do without them)
Anyway, the finder changed her opinion about this kind of teachers because of this book :)
Fantastic, Inge!"Go Hunting" is under the tab "Books and People" which is the second from the left. You have to know which towns you want to notified about (the one you live in, the one you will vacation in next, the one your family lives in, maybe) *and* those towns have to have books recently released in them, otherwise they won't show up in the selection list.
But, yeah, if you find the 'Go Hunting' link, it's pretty easy to follow the prompts.

I figured this could be a thread of encouragement, whenever we get a cool catch we can post them here! :)
