Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

Some single letter authors. A few are genuine authors, but most seem to be cause by import errors splitting initials from the surname.

NB: if there is more than one genuine author here, they cannot be disambiguated as there are single-name authors.

c - not sure about how to deal with the Miss Honey Pie works, as they are not narrators as in audiobook narration.

K - Goodreads author, needs the errors fixing on works not belonging to that author.

I know we don't normally use honorifics but should this be set as "Mr. M" to differentiate from others?

If that is on the cover. If you and I both wrote works which had "M" on the cover and nothing else, then we're stuck sharing unless more information is known AND someone like Rivka makes the decision.

#2 - I would agree in that circumstance that Mr. would be valid.

So would I. Rivka has the final word though.

I think it would need to be Mr. M., but yes.

I cleaned up A a bit.

There are few issues:
- books in Japanese
- single magazine issues - should they be nabbed? deleted? (I think I can't).

Nabbed the four single issue magazines. Today it was working.

There at least 10 (I don't have the nerves to count :) ) for which only details entered are language (Spanish) and title.

M ) saw this one today and thought of this thread. As I added that author I realized a lot more matches of names starting with M ) like M ) Vad so there might be more work to do.
