The whole idea is that the big baddies try and murder humans right? Cause that's the vibe I'm getting and I just want to be sure.

Yeah basically that. The humans have to survive. But humans can be baddies too :) I know it's a little confused sorry I need to work on that explanation.

So what I'm getting is that this is like Dead by Daylight, but with a walking dead vibe where people will kill each other if it'll help with their survival?

That's completely 100% up to interpretation. My witch knows very little about her familiar, not even knowing the gender or the name so she just calls her familiar Hubris because she had to make up some kind of name. Just that her familiar should be extremely loyal and gets power from being close to my witch character I guess. Oh, and that Hubris is a large black intimidating werewolf in wolf form.
