New Australian novel: Loreless

I'm glad it sounds good, Sarah-Jane. I hope you'll take the time to check it out. It would be great to find more Aussie readers.

- most entries come in the first couple of days and last couple of days, so there is little point in running a giveaway longer than the minimum 1 week
- you will usually get nearly as many entries for 1 copy of a book as you will for 10 copies, but 10 copies will give you a greater chance that the recipient(s) will actually rate or review
- use a status update to friends, groups etc to help drive interest
- although it is nice to offer a signed copy this will often be more expensive/slower than just shipping a print copy direct from your distributor, so the most cost effective is to ship directly to the winner and send them a nice personal congratulations message via Goodreads.
- you can only do print giveaways on Goodreads right now, but you can do ebook giveaways on Amazon.com

Much appreciated!
Just got the paperback out there, so another milestone achieved. Will take your advice but first need to recover from the shock of getting this far : )

Loreless
P.J. Whittlesea
I have just published my first novel, Loreless. At the moment is available exclusively through Amazon and is in the KDP Select program until October.
In the next couple of weeks I will have the paperback ready for distribution and then will run some giveaways (once I get my head around how it all works - any tips are welcome).
The book is inspired by my time spent on remote Aboriginal communities and growing up in a small outback town, it traces the journey of a man coming to terms with himself and his culture.
I hope you enjoy reading the book.
Loreless:
Are you ready for different kind of adventure?
Sometimes, it’s impossible to get home.
Especially if home is not where you think it is.
On the eve of his wedding, and through a bizarre set of circumstances, an Aboriginal urbanite finds himself stranded in the remote Australian outback. In an effort to get home he embarks on journey, not only into himself, but also into his heritage.
