Should have read classics discussion

This is the group read for August. I had to read this in school, so I'm wondering how much I have remembered or has been tainted by the movie's adaptation.

I have my copy and ready to enter the rabbit hole!

This is just a crazy book. Was the author on acid or opium? Just a crazy trip into imagination/hallucination that is for sure. I just finished the chapter when Alice is running away from the puppy and now she has just met the mad hatter.

I think it might be my favorite book ever. I just love the absurdity.

I loved this as a child and if anything I love it even more as an adult. I heartily recommend it.

I agree! It was a fun read. Different that is for sure. Was it a commentary at all or just a crazy read? I like the queen and king running around yelling " Off with their heads". I loved the absurdity of the painting of the flowers, that could be a metaphor for most things in this life.

This book made no sense, of course lol
