Oh nice! I have this one on my TBR shelf at home.
I read BOB so long ago now, but I do remember that I absolutely loved them, Clive Barker was my new SK for a while. Do yourself a favour & give BOB a go.
Clive Barker, one of my all time favourites -- next to King of course. Some stories in the Books of Blood were turned into a series of graphics novels, back in 1989, called Tapping the Vein. There was also a very good Yattering and Jack stand alone graphic Novel.
I would have to put the Books of Blood as one of the corner stones of Horror, that and the Hellbound Heart marked Clive Barker as being one of the most imaginative writers at the time.
Brilliant.
They were wonderful. I still have some of the paperbacks, but not the full collection. I should re-read one day.
I still have a yellowed and dog-eared BOB 1-3 in the loft somewhere. Couldn't part with that.
