So I'm only 23% into Wink Poppy Midnight and so far I think that Poppy is a freaking bitch! Excuse my language. I know that the synopsis says that no one is quite what you think and that everything can change on a dime. But I REALLY hope that Wink doesn't become the villain. There are enough redheaded villains out there!

I know, I'm a bit biased because of my red hair. But I'd really like a story where the red headed girl isn't a villain. (Not talking about the Weasley's.. Aside from them)

How are you guys liking Wink Poppy Midnight so far?!

Has anyone read this yet? I have 47 pages left in the book and I have a feeling that Wink is just crazy and making it all up. Like Midnight and Poppy don't exist and this was a story created in her crazy, batshit mind.

Haha. Maybe I've just got crazies on the brain. But this is my theory so far. Because I don't see how Poppy can be switched to not be a maniacal bitch.

And Midnight.. Am I the ONLY one who thinks he's just super... pretentious? ugh, he drives me crazy!

so I finished this one right under the wire and I think this may be the first time I finished a book not liking any of the characters. I mean am I alone in my struggle to find redeeming qualities? but I must say the story did suck me in and keep me intrigued.

Number 1. YAY for finishing it! Number 2. I liked the characters some of the time. Number 3. There were many times that I wanted to DNF it. But I pushed through so that I could finish it for book club. But honestly, I kinda wish I DNF'd it. It just didn't do it for me. Like, what was the point of the story? To show that Wink and Poppy were crazy? Like I just don't get it! haha. I don't understand what happened. Like I comprehend the stuff that happened. But I don't comprehend why it happened.

Maybe I'm not making any sense...

I'm totally with u, there were a few times where I was like maybe I should DNF this. but I kept going because I thought this must be going somewhere! But when I finished I was like what was the point? was I suppose to learn something...was there some sort of moral to the story? I guess out of the three of them Poppy seemed to have grown as a person the most by the end.. to me anyway. that's something I guess ;)

you have a point with Poppy growing a bit by the end of the story. But I still don't get what the point was. haha.
