Thanks to everyone who came out for last night's discussion. We've made our selection for our indie publisher pick: The Fun We've Had by Michael J. Seidlinger from Lazy Fascist Press. Copies are on their way. They will be $12. Let me know if you'd like me to hold one for you. The discussion will be Wednesday, September 21st, at the Publick House.

Copies have started to arrive. There's one copy up for grabs now, and more should be here in the next few days. They are $12 plus tax.

We still have plenty of time before our discussion of The Fun We've Had, but I wanted to suggest we try something a little different this time around. It's totally optional, but I'd like to invite everyone reading the book to come up with one question for the discussion based on what they would personally most like to talk about. If you don't feel like it or don't have time, no worries. I'll still come up with a list of questions as a fall back. If you do have a question for the group, just bring it to the discussion, or even post it here if you'd prefer!

I hope everyone is enjoying the book! If you haven't started yet, there's still time! In fact, I want to let everyone know that I had to reschedule the discussion. I've pushed it back by a week from the 21st to the 28th, still starting at 7:30pm at the Publick House. I apologize for any inconvenience. But, it does give us all an extra week to read! Hope to see you there!

I just realized that we have a reading at the bookstore on the 28th, so I have to reschedule yet again. Our new date is October 5th! Sorry to keep shuffling things and to space it out so much.

Join us this evening for our discussion of The Fun We've Had: 7:30pm at the Publick House. We'll have beer! While we're there, we'll finalize our Halloween pick. It's tied right now. There's still some time to cast your votes. If it's still tied at the end of tonight's discussion, the group will decide!
