Moderators can add discussions, polls, and edit the group settings in general. If you think you will be active enough and know the group well enough to do these things, ask to become a moderator here! Please keep in mind I cannot have everyone be a moderator, but I will look for more and more people as the group grows.

I've been thinking about this , however as the school year starts (at least in the US) I will get busy . Would coming on maybe once a week during the school year (starting in about a month) be alright ? Perhaps you could remove me when the time comes around if you decide to make me a MOD.
And , if you say no , it's completely alright . I understand if you don't need help or simply think it's best like this . I think this group has lots of potential.
I have one suggestion , though . If the group gets enough members as to a good amount are all scattered in different time zones , perhaps you should have MODs from these different time zones to supervise during the time. (Yes, confusing , and I've overused 'time' xD )

Yes it would be completely alright with me if you only came on about once a week. I will be busy too! I will add you as a moderator!
That is a good idea! Right now we might not need it, but later I will definitely advertise the idea :)

I know I just joined, but I would like to be considered to be a moderator. I have to be honest though, I am not sure that my knowledge of this group is up to par. But, if you'll have me, I will try my hardest to be helpful.
I also understand if you don't want me to be a mod. After all, I did just join this group, and Goodreads, so I may not be the best help and you don't know me. . .

Anyway, I just thought I would let you know that I'm interested in helping in any way I can.

I will happily make you a mod! I think if you are as active as you have been so far, it will attract a lot more members to the group! If you're ever confused, ask Stephanie or myself in the Moderator chat topic :)

I'm so happy that there is an opening to be a MOD!
If I'm a mod, I will try my best to create new posts and discussions that will hopefully interest all members!
I already have a few ideas, but of course nothing will work at all if the other members aren't participating!
So I really hope that I will be considered to be a moderator, and I also encourage the members to be more active!

@Laura I absolutely think you are suitable to be a MOD.
Please, if any of the MODs think they are not active enough to be a MOD, you are free to step down. No hard feelings at all, I understand everyone is busy at this busy time of the year :)
