Dana Burkey (danaburkey) Learning To Fly is the first YA fiction novel to take a real look at all star cheerleading. Not only that, it is the first in a series dedicated to the sport!

I am currently looking to build up more reviews before the next book comes out on September 25th, and would love to send our PDF copies to anyone interested in reading it! The book is FREE for all Kindle Unlimited readers as well!

If you are interested please message me your e-mail address and I can send the book over right away. In addition, ARCs of book 2 will be available within the next 2 weeks for those of you wishing to keep reading in the series.

Message me now if interested, and here is a little more about the book in the meantime:

Max Turner is a tom boy through and through. Her favorite activities include hunting, fishing, playing sports, and running around with her neighbors Peter and Kyle. But, when Max meets some girls at the local trampoline park she gets introduced to a whole new world. With her dad's encouragement Max finds herself in a place she never imagined she would be: an all star cheerleading gym. TNT Force is one of the best cheerleading gyms in North Texas, and between the glitter, massive hair bows, and over the top dance moves Max is sure she had no place in the gym. But, as she soon learns, she has skills that even top cheerleaders work years to develop. Will Max tough it out and give cheerleading a chance, or will she ignore her natural talent to stay in her comfort zone?

Really great books!"

My birthday is actually on the 25th, another reason I chose that date for the release! So it looks like we both get to celebrate around the same time!

I should have book 2 for readers in about a week or two. My editor is working on it right now, and then I just have a little bit of formatting before I send out the first batch of ARCs. I can't wait for everyone to see where the series goes in book 2! Oh, and I'm already 5 chapters into writing book 3, so thats on the way too! haha
