Here’s hoping that everyone had a wonderful weekend! I trust you found some time to sit down with The Genius of Birds and learn more about these fascinating creatures that used to be held in such low esteem.

When I picked up the book, I wasn’t sure what to expect. For those of you who have begun to read the book, what are your initial impressions?

What do you think the author is trying to prove?

I think she's really trying to prove that birds have the potential to be just as smart as humans. I'm not sure that I agree with this in its entirety since some birds have very advanced abilities in certain areas and not in others.
