Its a very short book, so you'll probably find you can catch up in a day :)

I might join in as well but it will be late. I have a few other books I want to get to and I'm moving the first week of September.
Since I read this one 2 months ago I will not do it again so soon. Will join in on discussions though. Still working on RG now which is slow right now, haven't read in a week. Wanted to read RotCG afterwards so I'll try and match the read of that.
I loved RG. I finished tCG a couple months ago and took a little Malazan break after to read other stuff. I am completely ready to hop back in though. This will be my first read of the ICE books
Yep, I am looking forward to it as well.
So next Monday I will open the threads and away we go. I am on Australian time, so it is Sunday evening for those in the States.

I'm in my first time around the Malazan universe and doing the recommended reading ordering which includes both Erikson and ICE books. Midnight Tides was last month, NOK with the group and then Bonehunters later in September and so on.
Oh right. Forgot about this. I might be able to fit it in 3 books from now assuming I finish those fast enough.
I tried to get David Sven to come back for the group read, but couldn't convince hi. To come out of retirement.
I am halfway thru GotM, and have really enjoyed the comments from the 2014/2015 group reads. I will shoot for NoK with you guys next week.
Joining in and skipping a little ahead since I have multiple books on my plate this month. This is coming at just the right time since I finally finished the Crippled God a month ago. I'm amidst Chapter one and will pause once I get through the first week's schedule so I can catch up elsewhere :)
I read NoK shortly after our TotF reread a few years back and thought meh. But I'll join in for the fun here! Will we be reading all of Esslemont's books?
Yrs Steve, we will work through the series. I agree the writing of ICE is a little meh! In his early books, but I think he does improve. I really enjoyed OST and think it one of his best. Want a big fan of Blood and Bone though. Big hopes for Dancers Lament which I am going to read soon.
Yeah, I miss him too. He is still doing a lot of audiobooks, but not participating in discussions on here. I hope to have dinner with him next time I am up in Brisbane, so I'll be sure to let him know many were asking after him.
I'll probably join in on this group read. Currently re-reading the main series, but wouldn't mind participating in this, since I was planning on reading the ICE novels after I was done my re-read.
I finished the book early this morning but wrote down some notes on the chapters that aren't posted for discussion yet. My review is spoiler free. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Carl wrote: "I'm finished too, it is a really short book. Nice review Scott. are we moving onto CG next?"Reading Bonehunters, Reaper's Gale and then CG. This is my first time through and I'm doing the recommended reading order. Thankfully I did as reading DHG first I found it an epic unveil in regards to Armanas and Cotillion. Where as reading it in NOK would have been anticlimatic.
Thanks for the compliment.
