I read this book already, and NO SPOILERS I PROMISE.
But this book is really good, especially if you appreciate art. The whole concept behind the art in this book is beautiful and so raw.
Colleen Hoover writes some really good books (I.e. Ugly Love, Maybe Someday, Maybe Not, and Slammed.) but you have to have an open mind to the situations that go on in the book, sometimes they seem a bit predictable or cliché but trust Colleen adds her beautifully written words and you got a good contemporary romance book.

I really like this book, but it's my least favorite one. :) I love Colleen Hoover

My only thought is that I hope I really like this book. I didn't like the last two books by Colleen I've read (November 9 and Never Never Part III), so I really want to like Confess, because I just LOVE Slammed and Hopeless.

Has anyone read anything similar to this before?
I think all NA sounds similar on the synopsis, but I still trust on Colleen to surprise me.

Yep! I've read Slammed (books 1 and 2), Hopeless, Never Never trilogy and November 9.

I've literally never read a Colleen Hoover book before. Just not my genre but I'll give her a chance.

This one was a huge disappointment for me. I was not able to connect to the characters and the storyline was dull.

I have read almost all the books by COHO..

I agree, the last few books of this author hasn't that good and November 9 & Never Never Part 3 are one of the worst books by the author..

I have this book. I'm so excited to join this.

Prologue:

(view spoiler)[At first, I thought that for the last time, she's leaving the hospital but when I reread the paragraph again, I realized that she just came to the hospital to visit her dying boyfriend, Adam. I thought she might be 17/18 back then but it didn't hit me that she was 15. She was so young to go through that (and her boyfriend too) (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 1:

(view spoiler)[I don't know why she needs the money to be hiring a lawyer, despite the probability that it has to do with her ex-boyfriend, Adam, but now, she's 20 and apparently need to find another job to be able to pay for the lawyer. And the confessions pulled me towards this story more and I love reading those anonymous confessions (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 2:

(view spoiler)[This is about Owen's POV, and he actually knew her? I definitely wanna find out more about this! and he's so young yet so successful and I know that he kinda has feelings for Auburn, but I really wanted to know in depth about his character, and not to mention that his father was a lawyer. I have a feeling that this may interfere with whoever Auburn is going to hire, or, the professional lawyer Auburn is working hard to earn money to pay for was indeed Owen's father. I mean, who knows (hide spoiler)]

Also, I learned a new word just by reading two chapters of this book. Palindrome. How cool is that?

Chapter 7 & 8

Chapter 17-19

(view spoiler)[I really hate how Trey thinks that he owns Auburn, because he definitely don't. His character disgusts and annoys me a lot, you can't force someone to have feelings for you and making use of her child, for that. Feelings don't work that way, idiot. (hide spoiler)]

5 years later

(view spoiler)[I LOVE THIS CHAPTER SO MUCH. I knew I'm gonna love the "epilogue", which in this story, I know this chapter is the epilogue. I just didn't know that what sort of like started Owen to painting was in fact, Adam. He's a nice guy unlike Trey, who is an asshole, and gah I just love this chapter it is so beautiful! <3 (hide spoiler)]

I just finished this book and although it is not her best work it is a very good story.

Chapter 2

It's not one of my favorites from Colleen, but I definitely enjoyed this book.
