This summer is flying by. We have time for one more group read before autumn leaves start to fall. So, for the month of September, we're going to honor the most prestigious horror author of them all, Stephen King, and help celebrate his birthday (Sept. 21, 1947) by dedicating our September Group Read to him.

So, please post your suggestions for which Stephen King story you'd like to nominate as our Group Read. Nominations will start now and end on August 25th at midnight!

I have this book on my tablet ready to go. I'm going back to the beginning and nominating Carrie

Carrie is a good one, but I've already read it. I'll nominate The Green Mile. I've wanted to read that one for a while.

I nominate Salems Lot one of his early books, but he was already a master by then.

Gotta go with either or Stand by Me.

this one i'm in for because I have 3 of his books I want to pick up, so how about Cell or Insomnia

I second Salem's Lot. I've just started a read through of them all again and that's my next one.

I really want to read The Stand . It has been on my list for some time now, I've just never gotten around to read it.

funny thing about that book, its one of my favorites not an all time favorite but still a favorite , just didn't like the movie at all ,
