One person posts a sentence, and then the next person posts another sentence to make a story, and so on, and after a while, we'll combine all of the sentences together so we can see what we came up with.

I'll start...

Once upon a time, a little girl was walking on the street.

message 2: by Graeme (new)

Graeme Rodaughan She glanced down at the note in her hand, quickly folded it tightly and put it in her pocket. She glanced around, worried that someone might have noticed. Not seeing anyone paying attention to her, she hurriedly walked off.

message 3: by [deleted user] (new)

She kept walking like a person walking would walk, never seeming to stop.

message 4: by kavi ~he-him~, Books are my escape from Reality (new)

Then the little girl bumped into a man on her way to where she was going.

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

The man glared at her, his glare radiating death and darkness. "You need to watch where you're going!" He growled, the sound coming from deep in his throat.

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

As this happened a group of local garden gnomes mugged a polar bear with hidden knife cheeseburgers.

message 7: by Graeme (new)

Graeme Rodaughan 'Oh my goodness!' She whispered. 'How extraordinary.'

She ducked past the glowering man, pulled out her note and pen, and quickly ticked of four items on her list, Muggings, Deathly Glares, Violent Gnomes and Hidden Knife Cheeseburgers.

Glancing over her shoulder at the glowering man, now staring at her as shadows gathered at his feet, she whispered quietly, 'Only one more, and the Pentacle of Doom will be complete.'

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

The man overheard her and his face immediately registered utter shock and even more anger. "The Pentacle of Doom..." he muttered. He only had one more item to find before it was complete and he wasn't about to allow this girl to complete it before him.

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Soon after an alien spaceship from the planet of shingalingadingdong could be seen falling from the sky overhead. Seeing this the girl started to head in its direction realizing it would be crash landing not too far away.

message 10: by Graeme (new)

Graeme Rodaughan 'Oh my. That ship could have my abducted parents on board. I could save them, or continue my quest for the fifth element of the Pentacle of Doom, and what of this glowering man who is following me. Is he the secret nemesis who has plagued my family for generations?'

The little girl decided to go on the the ship to save her Abducted parents on board and then continue her quest for the fifth element of the pentacle of doom on the way.

message 12: by Graeme (new)

Graeme Rodaughan With a quick glance over her shoulder at the Glowering Man, who was reaching for something deep within his black coat, she darted toward the alien spaceship.

She reached the hull, which was steaming with grey mist, she reached out to touch it, but recoiled when she realised that the metal was extremely cold.

She searched for a door, but could not see one, however as she circled around the vessel, she found a large crack in the hull from the crash landing. Through the crack, she could see a passage way leading deep into the ship.

Looking around, she could not see the Glowering Man, but she heard a loud cough. Whirling around she saw the Polar bear trying to use a bloody claw to scratch half a Garden Gnome out from between two large teeth.

'Mrumph,' the Polar Bear said. 'Mrumph!!!'

She stood on tip toes, tweaking a dangling ankle and the lower half of the Garden Gnome fell to the ground with a wet plop.

'Damn things are sticky as all get out,' the Polar Bear said.

The Polar Bear bent forward until his nose was six inches away from hers and said, 'One good turn deserves another, what can I do for you?'

"Give me all of your chocolates," the little girl asked. "But why?" the Polar Bear asked. "Because I said so," the little girl pouted.

((XD you guys are awesome!!))

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

"I'll give you my poop" said the polar bear. "WHAT??!! NO that is disgusting" the girl said in return. "Oh, no you misunderstand" says the polar bear "where I'm from, poop means chocolate and chocolate means poop."

message 15: by Graeme (new)

Graeme Rodaughan 'Whoops, I don't want any Poop,' said the Girl.

'Hmmm...' said the Bear. 'Is this guy with the mean look, big black coat, and shadows swirling round his feet bothering you?'

'Oh him,' The girl said, noting the reappearance of the Glowering Man as he circled around the front end of the alien craft. She nodded her head. 'He's been following me all morning.'

'I could fix him up for you,' The bear said, grinding one paw into the other as his eyes gleamed with anticipation.

Suddenly a robotic voice called out from the interior of the crashed space ship, 'Jessica, my Jessica - we have returned.'

Jessica whirled toward the crack in the hull and stared into the ship.

Jessica walked onto the spaceship, searching for her parents, or any strange things that are happening.

message 17: by Graeme (new)

Graeme Rodaughan 'Please guard this entrance Mr Bear,' Jessica said, as she stepped into the alien craft.

'Will do, remover of stuck gnomes,' Mr Bear growled.

The lights in the corridor flickered on an off, and sparks flew from smashed consoles on the walls. The corridor proceeded forward and split left and right.

The robotic voice continued, seeming to come from the right hand corridor, 'Jessica, is that you Jessica?'

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

Jessica's eyes went wide. She wasn't sure if it would be wise to answer but she knew she'd do anything to find her parents. And so she did.

"Yes it's me," Jessica replied. "Who are you?"

message 20: by Graeme (new)

Graeme Rodaughan "We are your parents."

A whiring noise increased, Jessica heard metal scrape on metal as a the front of a single, smooth, ovoid pod, taller than a man rolled around the corner on squat metallic tracks.

A speaker on front of the pod blared, "We are your parents!"

message 21: by kavi ~he-him~, Books are my escape from Reality (new)

kavi ~he-him~ (spideykavi) | 255 comments Mod
"Mom? Dad?" Jessica ran over to them.

message 22: by Graeme (new)

Graeme Rodaughan Two mechanical tentacles snaked out of the pod and grabbed Jessica's shoulders, lifting her up and bringing her to a small window near the top of the pod.

She looked inside, she could see the outlines of two human forms floating in fluid, surrounded by cables and tubes.

"Our daughter, we have been transformed by our alien abductors. We stole this craft to escape our captivity and to warn you."

"Warn me for what?" Jessica asked. "What is going on?"

message 24: by Graeme (new)

Graeme Rodaughan "It's the Pentacle of Doom. It's the one weapon that can be used to destroy the Shadow Clown."

"The Shadow Clown?" Jessica asked.

"The source of evil on this world. You must move quickly, we sent word ahead to our friend, Grisward Northman, he is a Polar Bear of great strength, he will guide you to the Fifth Event which will complete the Pentacle of Doom."

"What is the fifth event?"

"No one yet knows - but when it happens the pentacle of doom will be complete. Do you have the list?"

"Yes."

"You see how there are only four events listed."

"Yes."

"Follow Grisward Northman, he will lead you to the fifth event - he has a sense for it's location, but not what it is. Now go, and go quickly for the Shadow Clown is near, and his powers are terrible to behold."

"Come with me."

"No Jessica ... No, we can't. We cannot leave this ship."

Jessica looked, and saw a gray cable coming out of the back of the pod that plugged into a socket on the wall.

"Mom, Dad!?"

"Go!"

Jessica steeled herself and ran back to the rip in the hull of the craft. She could hear loud growling coming from outside. She slipped through the gap in the hull.

message 25: by kavi ~he-him~, Books are my escape from Reality (new)

kavi ~he-him~ (spideykavi) | 255 comments Mod
She continued to run, then she tripped over a rock and fell onto her knees.

message 26: by Graeme (new)

Graeme Rodaughan A shadow passed over her. It was Grisward Northman, roaring at the Shadow Clown.

Grisward turned back toward Jessica, and growled, 'This foe is beyond me, we must flee, I am faster, climb up onto my shoulders and hold on tight. Quickly now.'

Jessica glanced past Grisward, and the Shadow Clown glowered at her, shadows swirling at his feet. His dark coat was torn and rent by great claw marks, but he seemed unharmed. He took a step forward raising his hands.

Jessica leaped onto Grisward's back, and he rushed off, they dodged left and right, and Jessica held on tight as bolts of shadow whistled past her head. She looked up and saw a bolt of shadow strike a lamp post which shattered into thousands of glittering pieces.

They rounded the corner of the crashed alien vessel and took off to the north.

The Shadow clown chased after Jessica and Griswald. Jessica screamed and held on tight to Griswald. "Go faster!" She screamed out. Griswald ran even faster.

message 28: by Cosmos (new)

Cosmos | 126 comments Yet the faster they ran, the more The Shadow Clown gained on them. Jessica screamed and held Griswald's hand tight.

message 29: by Graeme (new)

Graeme Rodaughan Griswald and Jessica ran hard down the street.

A gnome appeared out of an alleyway, then another, and another. A whole posse of angry, gnarly, gnomes, brandishing cut throat razors spilled into the street.

"Not these guys again." Said Griswald,

"Gnome Killer!" One shouted.

"Cap smasher!" Shouted another.

"Black boot biter!" Screamed a third.

Then all the gnomes rushed to attack Griswald and Jessica.

Griswald roared, leaping high over the charging gang of razor waving gnomes.

As they landed clear of the Gnomes, Jessica glanced back, the Shadow Clown was following hard on their heels.

"Who's that lunatic?" Snarled a gnome.

"He's not gnomish." Shouted another.

"Attack, Attack, Attack." Shouted the Gnome posse and charged at the Shadow Clown.

message 30: by Cosmos (new)

Cosmos | 126 comments The Shadow Clown took out an axe and killed the Gnome on the spot. Blood and guts flew everywhere.

message 31: by Graeme (new)

Graeme Rodaughan The rest of the Gnome posse continued to attack with wild, mad, abandon.

message 32: by Wayward Skyril (new)

Wayward Skyril They poked and prodded, slashed and stabbed, and they actually managed to get a few legitimate gouges on the Shadow Clown before something changed. He seemed angry, an intense darkness rose from behind him and washed over his features. The gnomes paused, startled by this change. Even the daylight seemed to fade as Jessica and Griswald watched in the moment of fear.

Then the darkness itself struck.

It tore the gnomes apart, scattering their remains like so much confetti. The Shadow Clown stood over them, axe in hand, a wicked grin on his face as the darkness chased the few shrieking gnones to have escaped instant slaughter.

"Griswald," Jessica panted. "I think we should go."

"Good thought," he agreed, and they turned tail and fled, the Shadow Clown's laughter echoing after them.

message 33: by Cosmos (new)
