Everyone seemed to wrap up this month's book rather quickly and its waaaaay too quiet in here. To stir it up a bit, I wanted to see what everyone else is reading in between this book pick and the next.

For me, I finally got around to The Cursed Child (the script to the Harry Potter play, and technically 8th book in the series.) I loved revisiting the characters and the world, but it wasn't perfect. I really enjoyed it even with the little issues I had though. Since I finished that I've picked up An Unattractive Vampire by Jim McDoniel. It was the winner of an Inkshare contest (which is a wicked awesome sort of Kickstarter for authors) and is so far very funny. It has an almost Terry Pratchett or Douglas Adams kinda feel in the writing style.

What about you guys?

Mark | 87 comments I agree that it has gotten too quiet, shame on us :)
Between books I've been listening to a bunch of the "Great Courses" series on Audible. My recent focus has been ancient history (cuz learnzing is kewl yo!), namely "Alexander the Great and the Macedonian Empire". The last one I did was "The Persian Empire", and my next one will jump a millennia or so with "The Rise and Fall of the British Empire".
My backlog includes "The Federalist Papers" which is just the original texts (pumped about that one) and "Bonhoeffer" which is a Bio of the namesake.
Eventually I'll get back into Brandon Sanderson (when he publishes some more stuff) and the Dresden Files (waiting for same).

I'm slightly embarrassed to admit, but I've been reading a slew of romance novels this month.
I won't bother linking which ones, but they've been a lot of fun. I ended up finishing a whole trilogy in about a week and have moved on to a new one.

I wish I didn't like these so much, haha!

I'm shuffling between Edenborn by Nick Sagan and a biographical account of Richard Feynman Surely you're joking, Mr Feynman!

Not to mention I'm always working on a slew of non-fiction including textbooks on Electronics Math, Physics, and just about anything Asimov wrote.
