Kid sits on the front steps of the large school. It was nightime, the moon hung high in the midnight blue sky as he furrowed his eyebrows at the annoyingly stubborn smudge on the top of his gun, "Damn it damn it damn it damn it damn it" he chanted as his fingers worked hard against the fabric of the white handkerchief and gun.

Nanami stepped out of the shadows of what looked like the courtyard of the school. Unfortnately, since she had no idea what the school layout was like, she'd actually stepped out - aiming for the front steps - onto something soft. Blinking in surprise, she realised, she was standing on someone's head, and she fell over.

He blinked and jumped up, backflipping three steps down with his guns, upside down and symmetrical as always, in both hands directed to her face, "State your purpose" he demanded.

"Ow," said Nanami rubbing her head. This was why she didn't like leaving her sea. Stupid King, sending her here just because she disobeyed a teeny tiny order. Nanami looked at the guy pointing his guns at her, and said, "Nanami Shinigami, new student to Xennel Gakuen, looking for a decent partner...not that I want one." She muttered the last part.

He kept his guns up, "Death the Kid, second dispatched reaper, son of Death" he said monotonously.

"I see, so you're the infamous 'Kid'," said Nanami standing up and brushing herself down. "I'm actually the Reaper of the Seventh Sea as well, but temporarily suspended."

He wore a blank face as he put his guns away, stuffing his handkerchief in his pocket neatly. "You're the one who was reaping without a partner." he murmured, "That's terribly inconsiderate to the order" he added.

Nanami hmphed. "Most likely, but I think I do a better job alone. I haven't exactly seen a reaper who meets up with my former partner...yet. Wait a sec, how did you know I was reaping without a partner?"

"I'm Death the Kid. An information broaker if you must. I know about all of the latest reaping order news." he replied.

"Damn, of course, I should have know. But really, I was reaping without a partner for at least a century. So you know of my failure, how lovely," she said, sighing.

He tilted his head to the side, "It isn't exactly my problem. I have work to do. A lot of it." he murmured.

<< Well basically, I was thinking that Cry could kill Loki because he eventually goes insane. Like, there's a cave down to where Loki releases Threxia, but there are stages in which Loki needs to get past, and Cry passes all of them but the others don't, being that they were either to hard or they brought back terrible memories. And the last round is an entire mile of mirrors, these mirrors relflecting inner fears to plain view of everyone. And Cry, seeing his own relfection as a crazy maddened Cry, could go ballistic and murder the dong diggitys out of Loki. XD Just an interesting thought >>

((Lol, I think that's a good thought because I really think we need to decide anyway how Loki dies (if he dies)/captured (if he's captured) and I like your idea, I love the mirror idea! I think I'll set up a Discuss the Plot Thread for this because knowing Maveric...he'll have a thing or two to say, oso it would be good to straighten it all out. I want Cry to kill Loki. Since Ama wouldn't do it lol))



Nanami matched his head tilt. "What kind of work do you have to do? Reaper stuff?"

<< It seems like Cry would need a motive, so either Loki hurts Aeliana or Cry goes, Mad!Cry, which is my second favorite version of Cry XD. And I think the only thing right now that could successfully kill Loki would be either the kings and queens together, a creator, or himself >>


He glanced down at his pistols, "I have humans to reap, and a demon is scheduled to die in about a month, I have to plan out exactly how I will be reaping this soul, it is strong" he replied.

((Lol I think hurting Aeliana might make sense, because I think it's bound to happen. And I agree, those who could successfully kill now that he's empowered would be the listed combination or either Creator and Amatersu is not likely going to step in, so I think it makes sense for Cry to go mad. ))


Nanami blinked. "I see, the usual stuff," she said feeling a little sad that she couldn't claim a similar kind of schedule. She yawned. "Who's the demon?"

"That's classified." he said blankly.

((Lol omg, I didn't expect the gif XD. Yeah, I think the only time Amaterasu would step in is when Cry goes mad. And that would only be to stop him from destroying her world, otherwise...she really just wouldn't interfere. ))


Nanami blinked, then pouted. "Well...I'm a Reaper too ya know. Shouldn't I also be privvy to this classified information?"

"It's classified because it is the downfall of one of the most powerful in the area. I can't neccesarily classify him as a demon" he replied.

Nanami blinked, "how surprising, I didn't expect that. I thought this school was supposed to be...neutral," she said making a face. Her next step now was to official start school here...which wasn't exactly her most favourite thing to do right now.

He glanced over, "Nothing lasts forever. And I am supposed to restore the balance between kinds. It is my duty as a reaper" he replied.

Nanami looked at him. She bowed in respect. "You're not wrong, nothing lasts forever. I know not of what the Royals have been up to lately, but I can presume it would not please them. Not afterall this hard work. If I was on my sea right now, I would be saying as you say now." Being isolated for so many years from other reapers to maintain her secret had left her forgetting just how honourable and deserving a reaper was. They, all worked harder than the world of Angels and Demons gave them credit for.

He nodded, messing with his pistol and the annoying little smudge. He sighed, "Though I don't blame you for the curiosity" he murmured.

Nanami straightened up. "But I've been told, curiosity kills the cat..."

"And I reap it's soul" he murmured, "To determine whether or not it lives or dies" he replied as he furrowed his eyebrows at the smudge.

Nanami smiled, "as is the life of a Reaper. You know, what happens to Reapers when they die?" Of course she paled a little at this, because she had momentarily forgotten why she was here, distracted by the Reaper talk, talk she had missed because she'd reaped alone for so long.

"It's up to the king of purgatory." he said blankly.

"Oh yes..." she murmurred lost in thought. "I forgot..."

He nodded and glanced back before sighing an irritable sigh, rubbing the smudge furiously.

Noticing his frustration, Nanami tilted her head, "not coming off?"

He sighed, "I don't know how I'm supposed to restore balance when my scythes are so damn asymmetrical." he growled at the gun.

"Symmetry...I don't know if this will help, since firearms are not my speciality, but I have some of the cleaning oils for my katana with me...." Nanami muttered, searching her pockets.

He blinked, "Really? I just finished a job at the oil rig a few states away... I suppose I was a bit careless.." he murmured.

"Yeah!" Said Nanami finding the little vial. She realised, she needed more. "I don't know..but will this remove the smudge?" She asked showing it to him.

He tilted his head to the side, "Perhaps we could try, I don't know if I could work with asymmetrical weapons.." He almost whimpered.

Nanami blinked, "um...it can't all be that bad." She took out the cloth that she used to apply the oil and dabbed some on. She gave the cloth to Kid.

Kid blinked, "I-It is very bad! Symmetry is life!" he shouted before working on the smudge. He sighed, "Ah, better, thank you" he smiled faintly at his weapon.

"Uh-uh okay, don't need to shout!" She said covering her ears. "So loud," she muttered, taking the cloth back. "I'm glad it worked. Though if it didn't, I'm sure even this school has a place for Reapers to store and retrieve weapons..."

He smirked, "But these weapons are extremely special, and so I'd like to handle them with care... rather than the school's sloppy handwork" he replied.

Nanami nodded, "You know, I agree with you there," she said. She'd been holding her katana every since she'd met Cryaotic in the fields. And under it's sheath, was the scythe that she had tended and cared for over the centuries. "My katana is my baby. That's why I have my own cleaning materials."

He nodded and placed his guns in their sheathes.

((Lol how would Cry feel about gaining one more kid...though a secret kid who he doesn't know exists because the mother hid her away - this is just an idea because I was talking to Helion about a possible plot twist for her character))


Nanami sighed and tilted her head, "what does one have to do when they arrive at this school?" She asked.

He shrugged, "I simply enrolled. It isn't a scary thing honestly. Tedious, but not scary" he replied.

((Well it depends on how Helion develops her character because she mentioned something about her charrie being Aeliana's little sis - like in a big reveal kinda way. Just wondering what you think about it. ))


Despite having stepped into the school was definitely still nervous. She hadn't been amongst people like her for against. "Just enrol...that's all?"

He nodded stiffly, "Yes, it's rather easy" he replied. He went back to his normal emotionless Kid self and cleared his throat. "Though I have heard that getting a dorm will be a very irritating task" he added.

"Oh damn, and here I was hoping it was the easy part," she said sarcastically. "Have you got one?"

He nodded, "Of course." he replied.

"Are they single dorms or do you have to pair with someone?" She asked.

He tilted his head to the side, "Hm, well, I'm not sure." he replied.

Nanami grimaced. She was hoping that it was fine to dorm alone. Yes, she was a total loner. "Well, do you dorm alone? Or are you with someone?" She asked, then added quickly. "Not that I want to dorm with you or anything, I don't know you. I was just wondering."

He shrugged, "My father ocassionally stops by... but I never talk to him" he replied.

"Death?" Nanami said, shivering. If possible, she would like to dorm as far away from that guy as possible. Since she didn't like him at all.
