Hey guys! I've got a great book for your Labor Day reading pleasure: The Orchardist, by Amanda Coplin is one of the best I've read all year! It's heart wrenching, deep, thoughtful, and beautiful! Plus, I believe that it is totally a feminist novel... Though, trust me, it is not obviously written in that theme. Coplin empowers the female characters in very soft and conspicuous ways that you wouldn't expect given the time period... Okay, I can't give any thing away, but I wanted to talk about this book SO bad! So, please read it and tell me what you think!
