Liz | 3 comments What non-fiction book are you reading or listening to? Would you recommend it to a fellow reader? Why or why not?

I am killing two birds with one stone with this category. I have to read book that deals with the way we think and learn for one of my grad classes so I decided to read Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking by Malcolm Gladwell. I have not started it yet but the GoodReads reviews sound promising so I am excited to dive in! I'll let you know what I think when I finish.

Do you have to read a book for one of your classes this semester that falls into one of the 10 categories? Add it to your bookmark, it counts! Don't worry, I checked the rules :)

Emily Moore | 1 comments I'm listening to Five Days at Memorial about the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in one New Orleans hospital. I highly recommend it for medical professionals as well as anyone involved in disaster planning. It is disturbing but also important.
