Our books of the month are:
The Heart of Betrayal and this is our second book in our series read. We hope that you enjoy this book if you were able to read the first one. If you have not read the first one then you should read it. I hope everyone who did get to read The Kiss of Deception enjoyed it.

Our book pool is not doing great. This may be an activity that we end up dropping at the beginning of the year. If this activity does not pick up we will discuss ending it. In this activity you only submit three books. It must be three different books than ones already posted.

Goodreads Choice Awards
The Goodreads Choice Awards started November first. The first round of voting is from November 1st through November 6th. Please go and vote if you have not already. The second round of voting is from November 8th through November 13th . The final round of voting takes place from November 15th to November 27th.
December Book of the Month Nominations and Poll
The Nominations for the December book of the Month will open November 12th and run through November 19th. Please please we encourage you all to come and participate in these. We have more people voting for books than we actually have nominating. This is not fair to those who do both. Hello to our Happy Bookaholics!
It’s the first day of November and we all know what that means! It means TURKEY! Well it means Turkey goodness to us in the States! If you live in the states I want to tell you all ‘Happy Thanksgiving!’ I hope it is a great one! Now onto the important stuff!
So what does the first day of November really mean? It means new books to read and discuss! It also means more fun games and new challenges to be found. New read-a-thons and new little games that will be themed to the holiday that we are about to celebrate!
I, Andrea, know that I was not around much during October. I had a few family emergencies that I had to tend to. I know that I left the group in the capable hands of my fellow mods! They did wonderful while I was away. They updated our books and discussion boards and even sent out a quick blast to let you all know about them! I am very glad that I have these ladies beside me working on the group. They are truly the best that I could ask for in my mods. I appreciate each of them dearly. Megan and Leela have been with me since the beginning just about.
I know that I need to get some stuff updated and I will be getting them updated! I am still in the middle of revamping the group. I have had some stuff come up family wise that has needed a bit of my attention. I have had a super busy last few months and I am fully dedicated to getting things done as need. I also have the best team of moderators to help me. I will be updating our group directory in the days to come this weekend.
