Introduce yourself. We are all here because of our common love of books. Tell us about you. You can tell us your age, your job, your children. You can tell us about your interest, talents, pets. Anything you want to tell us you can tell us.

Odds are you'll find someone who has a lot of the same interest. They might be in the same job as you. Or they may have children the same age as you. Who knows how many friends you'll make just by introducing yourself.

I will start! I know we have mostly likely all done this once already but since we are revamping and starting new. I don't think that this can hurt to do it again.

HI I'm Andrea! I am the creator of the group.

I am a high school graduate. 11 years out of school. Gosh I feel old. In high school I played the flute and piccolo. I was in marching band and yes it was my life so I didn't read much in high school.

I'm 29 years old and have two children. Happily married for 8.5 years. I read anything i can get my hands on honestly. I do mostly favor young adult books. One of my favorite contemporary authors is Sarah Dessen. I enjoy dystopians and fantasy. I love the Janet Evanovich series that she did for Stephanie Plus. I think they are absolutely hilarious.

I'm a stay at home mother. I do have one school age child. He has just started 2nd grade. I am planning to go back to school myself once my youngest starts Kindergarten in the Fall of '17. Honestly I cannot wait to go back to school. I am going for Elementary Education.

Hello! To get it out in the open, my name is Irish. I'm 25 years old.

I'm a Certifed Nurses Assistant and I am hoping to be going to school this coming October for Licensed Vocational Nurse.

I'm a FurMommy of two cats (Leela is the oldest (who is my screen name) and Daenerys) and a dog (named Cloud). They are my life and I am super sensitive about them. Lol.

I don't read everything I get my hands on. I read almost only Young Adult. I'm not really into Adult books anymore really. Just the older ones that I had already loved. I mainly enjoy Dystopians and fantasy. I'm barely getting into Contemporary. My favorite authors are Cassandra Clare, Rick Riordan, and Jennifer L. Armentrout.

And I think that's pretty much it.

Hi I am Roxanne, probably the oldest in the group, lol I am 38 year old mother to 3 boys, currently I am stay at home mom. That may change if I decide not to home school my younger two boys. However, at the moment I am leaning towards Home school.
I do currently sell Rodan + Fields, (amazing skincare products)
I read pretty much everything although I prefer YA right now, my tastes change all the time. My current favorite author would be Sarah J Maas.

Hi, My names Louise-Ellen. I'm 25 soon to be 26... 12 days to go lol. Anyway i am married to a wonderful women called Jade and she is my rock. I have a chronic long-term illness called Fibromyalgia some of you may have heard of this, (feel free to ask me about it if not) Anyway due to my illness i am unable to work a "normal" job so i set up my own business at home, i work for Avon, I am a Avon Sales Coordinator. Which means not only do i sell Avon's amazing products but i have my own team of sales representatives and sales leaders, i help them to progress in their career and help them to achieve more sales and grow their business. What next lol, yes i can chat for England which is where i'm from by the way, Nottingham to be precise. I have 2 black dogs, a Lab called Oreo and a mixed breed called Blackjack i also have a Black cat Oscar, Not blessed with any children yet although me and my wife would like to start trying next year, so fingers crossed for that. My hobbies inc: Reading, Knitting, Computers, Photography, Avon, Music, TV Shows, and more Reading... With my illness i have a lot of time to read lol.
Anyway i think that's about it so i shall love and leave you all xx

oh before i go.. i loves all genres, YA is my fave atm my tastes change all the time. My fave author of all time is Kelley Armstrong.

Welcome Louise-Ellen! Happy to have you here. It sounds like we have a lot in common. I also suffer from fibromyalgia and run my own business (I also knit and love photography!!!). I was diagnosed about 8 years ago so I totally know what you're going through. I'm here if you ever want to talk or vent about it. I also am a book eater. I read constantly. I have my own petsitting business so I spend most of my day in the car or with animals so I'm constantly listening to books. I will read/listen to just about anything that comes my way. I love YA and thriller/suspense but I'm not too picky.

Hi Megan, i've had my Fibro since i was 13 i'm turning 26 very soon so coming on 14 years. To be honest i still haven't got a handle on it. I'm having to use my wheelchair more and more often but i hate giving into it. Any tips you've found helpful would be great lol... Reading is the best thing to distract me from my pain.

Nice to meet you all (and for some of you, hello again ! ) I'm Coraline and I live in Belgium. I'm 23 and I just got a degree in translation (Dutch and English), I'll start my first real job on Monday which is really exciting and scary at the same time. I still live with my parents but I'm going to move in with my boyfriend really soon. I have a cane corso named Luigi, a cat (Emy) and a rabbit (Ernest).

I can read almost anything but I prefer YA (fantasy and dystopia are my favs), it seems like a lot of you prefer YA too :) Harry Potter and the Hunger Games are my favourite series.

When I'm not reading, I play video games or I listen to music.

Im currently not able to work i have just been diagnosed with degenerative bone disease in my knee.. So I'm having to stay down alot.. I'm owned by 2 spoiled cats.. I love to read murders.mysteries. ghost vampires etc.. Sometimes i will read a romance but not to often.. Hope to make new friends.. I love discussing books..

Hello everyone!

I'm a new indie author, but I'm also an avid reader and I can't wait to get to know everyone and talk about all the books we've read! I read a large variety of genres, but I usually get into kicks and binge on some genres more than others. I love me some ya! The only genre I've never been into is erotica (nothing wrong with it). Right now I'm reading a really great book, it's a little different but sometimes you just need different. I'm big on friends and family, and like I said before I can't wait to learn all about you guys. :)

Hi Everyone, and Welcome to everyone!

My name is Ryan and I am a 38yr old single mother to a very bright and beautiful 14yr old (who keeps me busy most of the time, lol). We live in the Last Great Frontier (Alaska!) I never thought I would find myself this far north, (I do not care much for the extreme cold), but here we have been for the last 5yrs and for the most part loving it. The summers are wonderful here and the people and church family I have found are the best. I also have one cat, an orange tabby named Mr. Tibbs, who adopted us shortly after we moved here.

It seems I have a lot in common with some of you, I too also have Fibromyalgia (was diagnosed 5yrs ago) and was just diagnosed earlier this year with Digenerative Disc Disease in my back, along with a herniated disc that has a small pie fragment missing and was pinching a nerve. Ouch! I could barely walk for over a month, I am doing much better now thanks to physical therapy. So if any one wants to talk or vent I am all ears, or um eyes! :)

I have been a part of this group since it started and really find it a great group and really enjoy it when I am able to be active online. Over the summer (May-August) I was mainly offline and was not active here, (though I was still reading!). Now that the school year is in full gear for my daughter (she started HS, @_@) and the weather is turning, I am going to be online more, however I do not always have access to a good internet signal, so may have short periods of being MIA. I am hoping that will change in the next couple of months, (keeping my fingers crossed!).

Anyhoo, because of my ailments I find I have a lot of free time to read. I also enjoy writing, art, watching movies, music, gaming, photography, hiking/nature walks & beach combing. I prefer reading fantasy & fictional books both adult and ya, I also enjoy a good mystery, thriller, & historical fiction.

Okay that about sums it all up, now that I have written a short essay. I am looking forward to spending more active time here and meeting all of you!

I am one of those people that likes to do a lot of stuff I play the guitar and I play chess and basketball and occasionally draw in my free time but my love for books and coffe is special . There is nothing in the world like getting lost in a good book while drinking a good cup of coffee.

Hi, my name is Schenley. I am from the United States, Pennsylvania specifically. I'm 19, turning 20 in January. I have a high school diploma and I've yet to enroll in further education, although I'd like to do so in the upcoming year or so. I enjoy figure skating, reading, drawing, playing chess, singing, playing video games and cooking. The books I gravitate to are pretty random but they are more often than not mystery and YA books. I love supernatural books, specifically ones with witches or warlocks. I live with my boyfriend in the state of Virginia, working at a bakery-cafe as a cashier. I couldn't agree more when Michaela mentioned her love of coffee and reading. A real pager-turner and a delicious, hot cup of coffee can really turn a person's day around. Btw, I'm kind of new to this site, so I may need some guidance from time to time. I'm excited to talk with you all :)

If I had thought about it when I was younger I would have taken a year out of high school before starting college. I did not and now I wish like hell that I had. I am going to be going to school in the fall of 2017 now however.

Hi Michaela! Greece sounds really exciting. Oh yes that is the best feeling in the world. I know some people prefer tea but coffee is just as good. I usually do both.

I am still holding my position as the youngest but it's nice to know there is another girl who enjoys chess, coffee and books (it's a rare phenomenon) and I also love cooking so we do indeed have a lot in common . Can't wait to talk to you all more!!!

Hello, I'm Jeremy. I am 27 married with 2 kids. I do a lot of reading on my lunch break at work, kids keep me pretty busy most of the other time. I've been married now for 6 years now, and live in Maryland. I typically love a thriller/ murder mystery, but also enjoy a fantasy or adventure book. I don't see many men in this group but I'm always looking for that next book that I just can't seem to walk away from, so any suggestions please throw them my way.
