Thanks for the post! I've been sitting on my copy of the Gunslinger for so long because I feel like I'll miss things by not reading King's other books.
George, you won't miss anything. The Gunslinger was my first King book and I have been trucking along ever since. Read the Dark Tower series then branch out and find the connections. I have seen this reading list before but I would not recommend it for those who haven't read the series but may be good to follow this if you plan to reread the Dark Tower as you check out his other works. He has a great expanded universe and its so fun to find all the connections.

I am thinking that I might try to embark on this grand endeavor of reading through the series as suggested by this blog post and wanted to share it with you all, in case anyone would like to join me.
