Alpha
This is the highest available rank. There's one or two within a pack, and always mates. They are in charge of the overall workings of the pack, issuing commands. The alpha keeps the pack together and working, Most alphas are both clever and dangerous. After all, they have to be strong enough to overtake the pack and smart enough to run the pack well to not be challenged too much. The easiest way to become an alpha is to challenge the original in a one on one fight, almost always to the death. However, if there's two alphas, then both have to be defeated.

Beta
The second in command within a pack. Usually there is only one, but occasionally a second is appointed. They are rarely mates, just the best two in the pack for the job. Their main duty is to carry out and reinforce the alpha's orders, making sure the pack is running the way it should be. In the alpha's absence, they are in command. Generally even with a change with the alpha, the beta retains their position, though occasionally the new alpha will appoint their own. If the alpha dies and is not killed, the beta steps up into the position.

Scout
The scouts have one of the most dangerous jobs of the pack. There's two of them, and they have to be close, whether romantically, relatives, or just friends. They must trust each other completely. Whenever it is necessary, they go to the mainland to buy food, electronics, any supplies that they cannot provide on their own. While there, they also try to find any lone werewolves that need help, bringing them back to the pack. Despite not having any actual official command power, most listen to the scouts. They're handpicked by the alpha, and two of the cleverest wolves in the pack.

Sigma *Only available when offered personally by a mod
Their roles are hidden, they do not share their responsibilities with their peers and often times they never do. Their business is top secret, and most of the time they pretend to be average hunters or sentinels. In reality, they're in charge of spying on enemy territory and taking out whoever seems to be an endangerment towards the pack. They're excellent liars, and it's an absolute requirement that they have more self control than most. They tend to be slimmer and a lot more agile than the others.

Healer
Though they aren't necessarily dangerous on their own, Healers are one of the most valued members. Two per pack, generally working together well. Even members of another pack generally don't mess with the healers, they are so prized. They are the doctors of the pack, doing everything they can to heal wounds for anyone. Usually they are unbiased and have less fighting ability than most, preferring to heal than to hurt.

Epsilon
Epsilons are highly valued within the pack, and respected by most everyone including the alpha. They usually don't participate in battles with other packs unless something threatens the livelihood of the pups. Their main responsibility is to tend to the pregnant wolves and little ones of the pack, and they protect them ferociously. The amount of Epsilon in one pack depends on the number of pups within that pack. There are normally about three to six.

Lead Sentinel
There's only ever really one to two of them, and they are the strongest of the sentinels, always on the front lines in battles, and they're the "army generals" of the pack. They have to be strong, and often times, they are the ones to teach the up and coming sentinels how to fight. They're brave and courageous, always willing to fight for their pack.

Sentinel
These are the general members of the pack. They are in charge of fighting, protecting the borders, and keeping things generally just moving along. Sentinels are the warriors of the pack, the guardians and the fighters. They are expected to be able to go into battle, and kill other werewolves without flinching when it's necessary.

Hunters
The Hunters provide food for the pack, going out and doing the hunting and sometimes gathering other fruits and vegetables. Generally, younger werewolves are classified as this rank before they graduate to Sentinels. Don't mistake the hunters that choose to stay hunters as weak, however. They're usually some of the fastest in the pack, and easily the best trackers. Without them, the pack wouldn't survive.

Elders
Older wolves, generally consider as retired. Anyone injured enough to be unable to carry out further tasks usually stay with the elders as well. All of them are treated well, and despite usually being unable to physically assist, they are valued for their wisdom and their stories.

Pups
They are exactly what they sound like. However there is a bit more to them that should be explained. Most pups are kept close together as well, closely watched by the epsilons of the pack. Not only that, but they are closely monitored by the other members as well, just in case a pack were to attack.

Worker
The most common of the slave ranks. They do general work, anything from mopping to cooking to building new houses. Most workers aren't treated as badly as the others, and are simply there to do general tasks. The luckiest do simple housework and chores, the unluckiest are simply bought to be punching bags, as they are the cheapest rank to buy.

Fighter
Fighters are exactly that: Fighters. Generally slaves that are too belligerent and violent to have anything else done with them. They are used as simple entertainment, taken to the arena and forced to fight each other. Bets are usually placed on a winner, and usually the loser is either killed in the fight or punished later for losing.

Pet
The dreaded position for any of the slaves. Slaves bought for personal use, generally close and intimate personal use. Usually these are simply reduced to simple sex slaves, and the slaves are generally very emotionally unbalanced due to what happens to them. They are marked by their master with a bite and scent, though of course some owners will share their Pets.

Loner
This is a simple name for anyone not a member of the pack. Loners are generally non-violent, and simply do their best to stay out of the way of packs. As long as they don't cross into pack territory, few have any problems with loners. They are frequently seen around town, and almost all of the stores are run by loners.

Rogue
These are essentially loners, simply a more violent type. They clash with packs, and there are frequent, small clashes with border disputes. Escaped slaves or banished former pack members are automatically classed as Rogues, no matter what they've done.
