Very nice review on this book. You gave a great take on your thoughts and how the Weird Western genre is today and why it's not jumping and gave a thorough analysis on the book.

The book itself sounds interesting and the synopsis alone gives me hope especially toward the end as I feel my book A Bloody Bloody Mess In the Wild Wild West blends the shows Deadwood, The Walking Dead and Hell on Wheels together as well. Perhaps I'll see what's working for this author and try it for myself.
