I'm flying home and can't take all these books with me.

2- Wormholes

I wasn't really sure where to post for the first time so I'm doing it here.

Thomas(view spoiler)[So 5 years ago he moves away and comes back because his parents are going through a divorce....then acts like nothing happened when he didn't talk to her at all. I'm with her I'd be a little bit mad too. (hide spoiler)]

WOrmholes-(view spoiler)[This part is over my head....and confusing so I hope that part gets better. (hide spoiler)]

Over all I like it enough to keep reading but I'm not as sucked in as I thought I would be. Then again I'm only 60 ish pages in.

I've been working in Empire of Storms but it's soooo long that I need to read other things with it. It's that or return the books to the library before I read them :/ so I'm trying to read more than one at a time.

oooh, I like doing that too - getting a little mix of stories to keep me interested! I need to start Empire of storms too....Ugh, I'm so behind :/

I'm through Part 1

I love it!

why didn't she remember the time capsule? and why didn't she remember (or want to tune into) the conversation about an email. It sounds like she's doing things that she isn't wanting to admit to herself - memories she's refusing to remember. I think this will be interesting as it unfolds
she's clearly talking and doing things and not staying present to see/hear them (hide spoiler)]

Jason(view spoiler)[ i'm not sure what's going on here. I don't know why, if this is a wormhole, that she isn't "disappearing' in front of these people.

Grey(view spoiler)[ he sounds so fascinating - like a larger than life part of the family - the glue that held them together
she doesn't seem to remember much about his passing - I wonder how awful it must have been for her. it sounds like he knew he was dying and tried to help her come to terms with it (hide spoiler)]

Dad(view spoiler)[ I wonder what's really going on here. she doesn't seem to want to tune into him at all (hide spoiler)]

I feel like I'm behind too! Luckily these are the only two buddy reads I have going, so I can get to them first. haha

Theory- (view spoiler)[I'm with you, I don't really believe she is seeing wormholes. I'm thinking the same thing that she's blocking things out. But what is she doing when she's in these "wormholes" but not only has time moved she has. I would be asking someone at this point. (hide spoiler)]

Dad- (view spoiler)[I agree. I can't decide if this is his personality or if he is still not over his dad's death or what. I also think maybe Grey was trying to help her move on. Do you think maybe he sent the email? hmmmm I guess it depends on when it was sent. (hide spoiler)]

Jason- (view spoiler)[So you get the feeling he's a jerk? I mean keeping their relationship secret from everyone and then just blowing her off when he goes to college... Because that all happened before Grey died so i wouldn't think she made that up in her head. (hide spoiler)]

Part 2

Gottie- (view spoiler)[She has got to be holding something back from herself. Also, I hope Jason feels bad that he dropped having a girlfriend on her like that when clearly she couldn't remember what happened then other day. I'm sure he won't check on her anyways though. He couldn't go with her to the hospital or at least get his mom to take her!?! (hide spoiler)]

didn't the first "wormhole" appear in the room when they were talking and she "fell into a box" and remembered their first kiss?
when she came back to her time and place, he was gone and all the books were packed.
makes me think they chatted about stuff she didn't want to remember/face and so she hid part of herself while they talked

I wonder if she pushed Jason away - if she told him she didn't love him, maybe he thought "why keep doing this then?"

and the house being empty?! I mean.....that definitely sounds like it's a different time frame or has she really been alone this whole time? now I'm super confused (hide spoiler)]

he said they try to talk to her and she day dreams and walks away. I think she's just day dreaming - she's just going away in her mind when they are talking to her

and I think(view spoiler)[ the kitty [popping] away was again, just her day dream. her can probably either wasn't in the room (he's outside a lot) or he just left, and she didn't see when he left, she was already day dreaming (hide spoiler)]

I think (view spoiler)[I agree with you on everything. This books was good but didn't go as I thought it would from the beginning. It liked that it was different and wasn't super predictable. I wonder if the cat is still around now or if runs away or something. I believe they all needed to hash out their issues with each other. In someways they were all around each other but not talking or Gottie wouldn't listen to them and zone out. Although, I feel like maybe he dad was doing the same thing and just letting her go through the motions because he still was figuring things out from himself. (hide spoiler)]
