Adrian stepped through the doors of th great hall, his stomach grumbling the hole time so loud that even nate could probably hear it. Speaking of nate, adrian kept sneaking peaks at him, he didnt want to admit it but he was ch checking him out

Nate couldn't help but chuckle when he heard Adrian's stomach growl "wow, who needs music when your stomach can play a tune all by it's self" he looked to the other boy grinning, despite how much of an ass he had been Adrien was actually a pretty nice guy, it didn't hurt that he was a pretty guy in general. Pretty? Was that the term to use? It was true, but maybe too feminine of a word, handsome maybe? Nate scolded himself for thinking like that and instead just looked forward still grinning

Adrian chuckled. "Shut it, im a growing man i need food more than i need air right now haven't eaten all day" he told him sitting down at the ravenclaw table hoping that nate wouldnt mind sitting here. It wasnt as if anyone elsr was here to judge him for sitting at the wrong table. "You wouldnt be saying that if you were as hungry as i" a few seconds later a few dishes appear on the table. He waisted no time in stuffing his face with a muffin.

Nate chuckled sitting down with him, it was weird to sit at a different table but he didn't mind. "I need just as much as you do, my body is just more polite about it" Nate raised a brow at the way the boy was stuffing his face. It was cute in a way, which was weird but oddly natural "your not eating that your breathing if in"

"I dont know what you're talking about im classy as fuck. Im obviously being very polite about this and..." he took a bite "im savoring my food if you can't tell. You're obvious blind" he said, his mouth stuffed with food. He grinned at nate.

"Soooo classy" Nate rolled his eyes reaching across the table to grab an apple "my apologies of course you are"

Adrian glared at him. "I heard that sarcasm in your voice mr" adrian turned bacm to the table looking at hus choices. He went with a slice of chocolate cake. He wasnt going to eat it. Oh no those muffins were enough to cure his hunger for the time being. He has other plans. He scooped up some of the cakes icing in his hands beforr turning to nate. "Im not sure i like your attitude mr. He said before whiping it along nates cheek.

Nate went wide eyed letting out a squeak "oh my Merlin Adrian!" Nate shoved Adrien playfully "you are such a dick"

Nate laughed at the boy laying agaist him, it didn't help his blush at all but he couldn't lie to himself, it was comfortable. Nathaniel used his finger to wipe off the icing on his cheek and sucked the icing off his finger until it was clean " maybe I was wrong about you being a prince" Naye said with a chuckle "maybe your a queen, a complete drama queen"

"Why cant i be a drama prince?" He asked, grinning as he sat up "as a male i feel as though queen isnt the right word. Maybe i can be drama king?" He said. "Drama king sounds right"

Nate rolled his eyes grinning "drama king it is then, all we have to do now is find you a throne and a crown big enough to get over your big head" he joked

"Welll... in that case fetch .e some wine, only the oldest and finest of qualities will do" he said, putting on an overly done brating accent. "If i am not please with its quality. OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!"

Nate blushed as he gawked at the boy "you... You think I'm handsome?" He was take aback. This guy, this unbelievably handsome guy just said he was handsome. He didn't know what to say

Adrian looked away from him, bit able to meet his eyes. Why couldnt he just keep his mouth shut. He fiddled with his hands Inhis lap. He had probally just messed up his chanceof what could have been a great friendship by blurting out his thoughts on nathaniel. He would at least havr liked to have been friends with this kid, even if it meant ignoring the obvious attraction he had towards him. Maybe part of the reason he found Nathanielattractive was because he was his first actual friend. The first person who had bothered to speak to him at his timeat Hogwarts. Even if there first words were nothing but pathetic insults.
"I uhh... guess soo... sorry" he whispered under his breath. He didnt bother looking at the other boy. He knew how embarrassing it would be. He could feel the burning heat in his face signaling he was as red as a tomato.

"No no... Don't be... I mean... I uhh. I.." Nate lowered his voice so no one could hear, even though hardly anyone was there, no one close enough to hear anyway "I... I think your handsome too, just.. I'm not suppose to think about a guy like that you know? But I mean... Your beautiful..." Nate cleared his throat looking anywhere except at Adrian. He couldn't believe he had said that. If he told anyone... Or if anyone heard him...

Adrian gawked at nate. Did he really just call him.... adrian sat there looking at nate for who knows long. It seemed like forever though. Despite the warm feeling kn his chest hr couldnt help but notice hwo awkward this actually was. "Of course i am. Just look at me" he said trying to muster up as much confidence as he could in his words but it turned out sounding a little unsure. So much for lightening the mood. "Sorry i was trying to make things... less awkward... i know how you feel though" he whispered

Nate looked over at the boy mustering a little smile "it's mostly my family you know? The great and proud family of Barenes. Pure blood ancient family blah blah blah. I don't know.... It means that I'm expected to... You know... Not be me" Nate shrugged

Adrian looked at nate, studying him... "my... my family doesn't know. Im not sure how they will react. If i tell them im bi theres no knowing what they're going to say. Im not sure im going to tell them. They've gone through so much already with a..." he stopped himself before he could say her name, his voice catching slightly on his words. "If they take it the wrong way im not sure ill be able to take it... same with my mother...." he whispered. "I dont get people sometimes, why is it such a bad thing for a guy to like or love a guy and the same goes for a girl liking a girl. Its just wrong the way people think these days"

Nate felt a odd need to wrap his arms around the boy, to comfort him but he stayed put making sure not to make his feelings for the boy visibly obvious "yeah... It's hard, to pretend to be something else.. I mean I wish I could just... Date who I want to date you know?" Nate bumped his shoulder against Adrian's affectionately "if it makes you feel better at least one persons happy that your into guys" Nate said softly trying to lighten the mood

Without realizing it adrian had reached out to grab nates hand in a comforting kind of way. If anyone were to walk in it was safe ti say they wouldnt see their hands from under the table. Adrian smiled, chuckling lightly. "Thank you and whos saying you cant.... people... dont have to know you could date someone..." he whispered not knowing weather nate could hear him or not.

Nate felt Adrian's hand in his, instead on pulling away he interlocked their fingers together, he tried to stop smiling so much by biting his lip but that didn't really help that much "yeah?" He said uncertainly. If wouldn't be fair on Adrian to have to hide a relationship, but at the same time the idea of being able to be in a relationship with Adrian made butterflies erupt in his stomach

"Yeah... i guess if... i mean if you... if you like.... im sorry im a mess" adrian whispered shaking his head. " what i mean to say is if you somehow find me attractive which is surprising if you somehow do we could. If you dont want to just... ima go im making this more awkward than it should be" he said, slowly untangling his hads from his, he didnt want to but he wasnt even entirely sure this guy had the same feelings as he didm as soon as be removed his hand from nates he regretted it he missed thhe feeling already. Adrian begun to stand up

"No no-well I'm mean yes... I uhh. I want to.... Your not making it awkward, you don't have to go... Unless you want to I mean" he said quickly, he really didn't want Adrian to go. His hand felt cold now that Adrian had let go "and I uhh... I do, you know... Find you attractive... I mean, how couldn't i? Your... Wow" Nate scratched the back of his neck feeling him self light up with a bright blush

Adrian chuckled "thankyou, youre not too bad youself you know?" He told Nathaniel. "How about we go do something, im no longer hungry. How about at nate?" He asked. God he looked cute when he blushed.

Nate smiled shyly looking at Adrien, he couldn't believe that a guy like that would be interested in a stuffy stuck up pure blood, but for what ever reason he did and Nate couldn't be more grateful "yeah, I, sure sounds good" Nathaniel said standing up from his seat

"So where we off to. Im up to whatever you are" adrian looked around the dining hall before meeting Nathaniel gaze, smiling softly as he did so. This kid was seriously good looking, how had he been so rude when they met.

"Ummm... Maybe the astronomy tower? It's getting late, the stars will be out soon. And no one will be there, so I mean... We could be alone without prying ears" Nate said quietly,

Adrian nodded. "Sounds perfect" he said and be headed towards the doors he wanted to hold his hand again but they wouldnt risk it... maybe another time
