Nate sighed walking towards a table his arms full of books for charms. as much as he loved reading he honestly wasn't in the mood to study, he was tired.

Adrian looked up as he heard the noise of the guy, he had very rarely seen around school sit down. there were plenty of seats around but he had chosen to sit at the one only a few seats away from him. Adrian didn't own the table so he couldn't kick the guy off it but still...
"I understand you probably have school work but still... if you make a noise or interrupt me at all this will end badly for you, sorry to tell u this sweetheart, I'm sure you're not used rejection but I have a test later this week and I don't want to fail..." he said, his voice in a loud whisper.

Nate couldn't help the light blush that dashed across his face at the name sweetheart, but that didn't stop him from glaring at the boy "oh well im so sorry your majesty. didn't realise I was making too much noise for you. should I be aweing at your presence prince charming? honestly if id known I would have been so much more respectful" Nate said quietly sarcasm dripping off every word

Adrian had gone back to his book but when the boy replied he couldn't help but glare. "here's a thing about royalty, they rule over the peasants, and if im royalty that must mean uhm... I know a peasant. explains your stench" he told the boy, smirking at his reply. "now if you would please I have a test on care of magical creature, im sure you wouldn't want me to let of one of the blast ended skrewts off on you, im sure they would enjoy it very much and as their carer I believe its my job to ensure that they are learning and enjoying themselves... don't you think?"

"so im a peasent and your theatenng me with skrewts, tough words from a not so tough guy. should I be scared? shaking in my custom made leather boots?" Nate rolled his eyes continuing to whisper at the boy "I came here to work so if youll kindly shut the gutter you call a mouth that would be great"

"if I cared I would tell you, im sorry that I interrupted your oh so precious perfect life with my gorgeous self, but I was just warning you, you didn't have to retaliate obviously and might I say those custom leather boots look terrible on you" he said, he was already getting sick of this kid and he had hardly even talked with him.

Nate rolled his eyes but he couldn't help but agree with the boy, he was attractive, very much so infact. Nate pushed that thought out of his head "you didn't have to say anything at all, how about you just mind your own business"

"well I did so get over with it, is that seriously all you could come up with?" he asked rolling his eyes at him. "and if you wont leave, ill be the sensible one and go" he started to pack up him books, he really needed to focus on work. but he wasn't going to lie to himself, he sort of wanted to stay not because he wanted to continue their little, childish fight they had going on, if he was honest he didn't know why.

Nate sighed. this was childish, and he actually didn't want the boy to leave. he didn't know why. "look mate just sit. ill stay quiet if you will." as much as Nate was annoyed by this boy e couldn't help but kind of enjoy his presence

Adrian smiled in appreciation at the boy "thankyou" he said simply. he was glad he got to stay. a few minuets went by, Adrian was looking ta his books, not a word escaping his mouth. the silence to Adrian at least was kind of awkward. it was a while before he spoke up. he sighed loudly to grab his attention before speaking. "look im sorry, I was acting like an asshole"

Nate wa ssuprised at the sudden change of attitude, he couldn't help but notice how much better the boy looked when he wasn't glaring at him, Nate smiled a small smile "I wouldn't say asshole, more like a pest. asshole would allude to the idea that I cared about what you said" he said half heartedly, the way he said it didn't sound mean, if anything it was just playful

Adrian grinned. "Dont lie you care about what i said... i know you love me" he joked. Smiling at the boy across the table whoes names he still didnt know. "Im Adrian walker and you are?..."

Nate blushed deep red, he quickly looked down at his hands clearing his throat "Nathaniel Barnes" he said quietly trying to keep his voice down so the librarian didn't scold them.

Nathaniel was fast enough adrian had already noticed his blush. why is he blushing? adrian wondered. It was a bit stuffy in this library. Maybe he was overheated. "Well Nathaniel barnes" adrian smiled across the table. "How about we go somewhere else its boring in this library. Or well it was but i need a break. So how about it?"

"I uh- yeah sure" Nate looked over at the boy and smiled. Adrian's smile was cute, which of course meant it would be the death of him, he had to geta. Grip and at least try nog to drool over this guy. "Where to?"

"How 'bout to get some food. Im starvviinggg" he told nate. "You up for something to eat?"he asked taking quick glances at him, he was cute when he was awkward. Adrian liked that.

"Sounds great" Nate answered grinning. He grabbed his stuff putting it in his bag before looking back to Adrian "lead the way mr charming" he said with a smirk

Adrian an eyebrow "mr charming?" He asked "you trying to say im prince charming. Awhh im flattered nate" he said grinning as he packed up his things and started heading out the doors. "Just so you knoe its a date" he joked sending a wink at nate, laughing.

Nate froze on the spot staring at the boy, 'did he just wink at me, Merlin he did kill me now' It's not that he didn't want to. He honestly would love to. But he couldn't do such a thing. He would be disowned, his name would be tarnished, his parents would... Hate cleared his throat scratching the back of his neck. He was blushing like a mad man, "I... I uh.. "

Adrian stared at nate, frowning. "You okay man?" He asked moving closer to him. He looked like he was getting a fever. He put his hand on nates shoulder."if you're feelinf sick you should head to your dorm"

Nate let out a small sigh "no no I'm-I'm fine, I uhh. I probably just need something to eat. Don't worry I'm good" Nate hated the way he was stuttering and stumbling over his words. He was sure if he was teasing the boy he wouldn't have had any issues but because he actually kinda liked this boy he couldn't get a grip

Adrian stared at him for a few moments, taking in his features. He wasnt going to lie this kid was attractive. Ofcourse he would never say it aloud but he couldn't help but stare. After what seemed like forever which was probably only a few seconds adrian shifted. Stepping back and started heading towards the doors. "Okay" he said with a smile, he knew something was up but decided not to mention it. "Lets go"

Nate took a deep breath and followed the boy, he had to man up, if there was anyway he was going to keep his secret hidden he would have to stop acting like a bloody love sick school girl, acting straight meant he wasn't allowed appreciate the few as he caught up with the boy, so of course he didn't look, nope, no way, not even a little
